We have been coming here for over a decade. The prices just get higher and higher. Breakfast for two is over $100 every time. Love Bachelors Gulch, but lately everything has an extra charge attached.

$28 for a 12oz cup of chili. Chili was cold. When we brought it back to the counter they replaced it with another cold cup of chili. They told us they had no way to heat it up and we could have something else. A Ritz Carlton shouldn't serve something they can't serve correctly.

We have it another chance. Incompetent, slow but good looking service (maybe a change of hiring policy would be advised) and mediocre food (soggy fried, dry chicken) combined with warm beer. And all for 50 USD per person incl. 24% flat tip.

This place is awesome!!!! Went with a group of ten and this was our favorite part of the trip. Grant and his crew did everything to make us feel at home. The staff was among the best we had in Beaver Creek. Not spending some time here would be a huge mistake should you visit Batchelor Gulch!!!!

What a shame for a Ritz-Carlton Hotel to have such a rip-off on their premises. Not only are drinks very expensive and food would match the OK category. The worst is that they are applying an automatic 24% tip to every bill ... which by itself is a already rip-off give the more mediocre service performance. The really worst is that they are giving you the final bill without reminding you of this practice - independent from the number of people in your party - or given any visible hint that they have already applied a very generous tip to your bill. So you are running the risk of tipping twice if you are not paying proper attention. BE AWARE ... THEY STEAL MONEY FROM YOU!!! Despite my complaint from September 2020 about this unmatched and dishonest practice.

I am still in shock that these 2 bloody Mary’s cost $25 each. A truly amazing and probably criminal rip off.

Overall, the restaurant at this Ritz Carlton have deteriorated over the past months to a far below average performance in food and service. This is another example of poor management and a lack of customer focus. Three examples: 1. There is an automatic service fee of tip applied to your check of 25% ... yes, you heard right. 25%!! I have never seen this before anywhere. I understand the logic and need for doing this automatically at a place that does not offer table service. But 25% is outrageous. 2. The service was mediocre for a place like a Ritz Carlton ... to say the least. 3. The food was not bad, but I would categorize the burger as average. Nothing special and nothing to go for again. Disappointing experience ... similar to the WYLD a few weeks earlier.

For some reason we were having a very hard time finding a place open! We had just come in from a hut trip and were dirty, hungry, and tired. We tried a few places that were closed and wound up looking for a lunch place at the Ritz. The other restaurants were closed so we were very happy to finally sit at a table outside and be served. Food was pricey, but everything was really good. The service was very good.

Great place to relax between runs. . . Bring your MasterCard because you are seated in the lap of luxury at the Ritz Carlton!

Food is pricey for the quality

One doesn’t expect a bargain at a Ritz Carlton in high season at a ski resort. But it’s probably not too much to expect that a 24% service charge automatically added to a $150 bill for a burger and a couple of drinks in plastic cups might be highlighted either on the bill or by the waiter. But no - the cc slip is left open inviting you to turn a 24% tip into a 50% tip. It’s tacky and not the standard one would expect at a hotel of this standard. It’s the 3rd time this has happened at the BG Ritz. I will not be going back.

The food is wonderful and the atmosphere even better. TVs to watch sports and appetizers and full meals available. The bartender was amazing and was helpful each night in helping me try different wines/liquors. It's quite a social scene as people from all over the world are there and very social.

Relax after skiing here with your favorite drink, listen to live music, enjoy the fire place outside if the weather is nice... all very well done!
