I recently dined at Grouse Mountain Grill in Beaver Creek, CO, and it was an exceptional experience that deserves every bit of a five-star rating. From the moment we arrived, the warm ambiance and attentive staff set the tone for a memorable evening. The rustic yet elegant decor, with its cozy fireplace and mountain views, created the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal.

The menu is a masterclass in elevated American cuisine, showcasing fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I started with the elk tartare, which was impeccably prepared with a delicate balance of flavors—rich, savory, and just the right touch of spice. For my main course, the Colorado lamb chops were a standout, cooked to perfection with a rosemary-thyme crust that complemented the meat’s natural tenderness. The accompanying truffle mashed potatoes were creamy and indulgent, elevating the dish to new heights. My dining partner raved about the pan-seared scallops, which were beautifully caramelized and paired with a vibrant citrus reduction.

The wine selection was equally impressive, with an extensive list featuring both local and international varietals. Our server, who was knowledgeable and genuinely passionate, recommended a fantastic Pinot Noir that paired flawlessly with our meal. Service throughout was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, with every detail thoughtfully executed.

Dessert was the grand finale: the warm chocolate lava cake with house-made vanilla ice cream was pure decadence, striking the perfect balance of rich and refreshing.

Grouse Mountain Grill isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience that celebrates the best of Colorado’s culinary scene. Whether you’re a local or visiting Beaver Creek, this restaurant is a must. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to this gem, where every dish and moment feels crafted with care.

Our waiter,Scott, was attentive and pleasant, made great recommendations and served our party of 14 a delicious dinner. The ā€œtater totsā€ are special, as is the pork chop entree. Everyone was happy with their steaks and the walleye is tasty too.

This is my 6th time to beaver creek/ vail area and this by far my favorite restaurant and it is the only restaurant I will travel to if staying in vail. The corn soup their delicious pork chop and the ā€œ fruit hand pie ā€œ was a hit for our table. Robert was spot on with recommendations another 5 star night

Beautiful restaurant with top notch professional service. We had the caprese salad and the lobster with marscapone that were amazing. For our main course we had the ritz crusted walleye and the pretzel crusted pork chop. Both were the best we have ever had. If they were not enough, we had fresh fruit empanadas with homemade ice cream. Our waiter Scott could not have been any nicer. If you are in Beaver Creek you should definitely go there.

We dine at Grouse Mountain Grill every time we're in Beaver Creek! The bartender, Jason made the best Makers Mark Manhattans and Woodford Old Fashioneds, plus the best Espresso Martinis ever! Our server was spectacular, timing all courses in order to finish meeting our Uber driver at the reserved time! We had the homemade Tater tots, always a treat, the burrata mozzarella and heirloom tomato with added watermelon salad, the Caesar salad and we each chose the Filet Mignon with Steak Diane sauce. Our entire meal was divine! Don't miss dining here if you have the chance, you will absolutely love it and return as we do whenever near!

Restaurant 10 out of 10! Great food, great service, great atmosphere!! Only complaints was that almost $100 in surcharges Makes it hard to tip the staff for how great they are! Very disheartening!

Overall experience was amazing! Dine on the patio if you can. Staff, food, and presentation are top-notch. Highly recommend the lobster appetizer, and if they have elk on the menu, don't pass it up, some of the best I've had and cooked to perfection.

We had a fabulous 4th of July dinner at Grouse Mountain Grill! Everything including the wonderful food, waitstaff, and view of the fireworks made it a spectacular night to remember. Thank you, Duffy, for giving us excellent service. You were outstanding!

We have been to GMG multiple times and it has dropped in quality and menu. Last night the menu was heavy winter fare with ā€œairline chickenā€ as the only GF option. Who names a dish after airline food. It is July and the menu was the same as the middle of ski season. They accidentally spilled wine on us and the table and we still had to buy the wine. Grouse Mountain Grill use to be worth the trip and price now it is average for Beaver Creek at best.

Always exceptional. We always bring family and friends. Walleye is the best and so different from most restaurant meals. Duffy brings the service.
