A Nice quite hotel, great friendly staff. Well maintained and clean. Bice views of Mountains. This is our 7th stay at this hotel over the past 7 years. The hotel is more like a time share type rooms, we always get the King size villa, with a separate room for the bedroom. Sleep sofa in the main room and a full service kitchen and laundry, with two fireplaces for the winter, bedroom and living room. Each room comes with a balcony. :ocated at the base of Beaver Creek. You can walk to various restauants.
Excellent except there is NO air conditioning in the rooms. Open windows and the provided fans help, but folks should know what they are getting into. Our room temp was around 78 degrees during the day/early evening. Some folks will be OK with that, but if you like cool rooms, keep looking. Other than that, the hotel was lovely, with a great fitness facility, pool area, free parking, excellent housekeeping, and friendly service.
Came here for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. Rooms were like little condos - well-appointed, comfortable beds (even the sofa bed), fireplaces that emitted heat, and a balcony complete with a grill. Bus stop to Vail is within a few minutes walk. We really enjoyed the rooftop hot tub, it was cool to be out there while it was snowing. Appreciated the free covered (underground) parking. Didn't use the ski rental in the lobby, but seems like a convenient perk of staying here. Would love to come back.
The elevator was broken in the building we were assigned. We were not informed prior. We’re told it would be fixed early next morning. Hauled all ski equipment, suitcases and food up 3 floors. Was not fixed. Got another story that wrong part was ordered. Second night their carbon monoxide alarm went off at 12:30 am and 3:30 am. Fire department arrived - faulty detectors. Called office at 12:30 and 3:30 - no answer. Fire department said they called them - no answer. Went to office at 3:30 and promised another room. Next morning manager said she could not change our room legally!?!?! Next day by 1:00 still waiting for answers in reviews. Manager threw some points at us. Awful! Never going back.
The room was spacious and cozy with almost everything you can think of for a bit longer stay though I only stayed one night. Location is convenient, with walking distance to restaurants and shops. The front desk manager was nice and friendly. Love the stay at this beautiful and quiet town in Colorado!
We did not get any room service after asking the front steak three times. The pillow cases were too small to fit the actual pillows and were gross. The dishwashers had a stench to them for the entire week and nothing was done about it.
We had a great stay at the Sheridan in Avon. Clean and Comfortable. The view was spectacular. Jason, the Consierge was very helpful. We loved cooking on the grill on our private balcony with the mountains as a back drop. Just a lovely place!
A beautiful property in a great location. We enjoyed the room, on the 4th floor at the front of the property. Furnishings were comfortable and fresh. Loved the whirlpool bath and the shower was huge. Well equipped kitchen and the washer/dryer was a nice bonus. The balcony was small but it was great to have a gas grill, chairs and table. Loved having 2 fireplaces, perfect for the Fall weather and the ceiling fans kept the rooms cooler while we slept. Loved the pool and hot tub areas, plenty towels and comfortable loungers. The lobby area was quiet and clean and we didn't use the market or business center but they were both easy to find. The gym was awesome and the views incredible. It didn't bother us not have daily housekeeping as we only stayed 3 nights. Walkable to everything in Avon and minutes from Nottingham park which we enjoyed at sunrise and sunset. Close to restaurants, City Market, Walgreens, the library and recreation center. My only hesitation to coming back is that my Marriott Bonvoy Gold status affords me no perks here. I love getting late checkouts with that status and I didn't like having to check out by 10am especially when housekeeping was knocking on my door at 9.15am. it makes a huge difference to my vacation when I can check out at 2pm and enjoy the pool/hot tub and eat lunch before I leave and so I would probably look for a property where I get that in the future. Otherwise this place is highly recommended.
15-20 minute check-in with solo front desk attendant. No one else checking in... crazy. Dirty linens in our hallway by elevator. Notified front desk and housekeeping never got them. Dirty stained counters in our room. Not the cleanest. More housekeeping issues. Lastly.. HOT. I didnt get the room cooled down until 1am via outside air draft because the hotel doesn't have AC. At 7400 ft elevation, the builder of the hotel should be shot for not putting in AC. A hotel full of people radiat a lot of heat. Never staying at this Sheraton again.
We really enjoyed the resort. We do not ski often so we were able to rent skis in the lobby. The bus stop is just outside the resort. We took the bus over to the ski slopes every day. It was very easy. Easy walking distance to things in the area.

We stayed here for a week the end of July and beginning of August. The main issue this place has is no air conditioning. You really can't get the rooms comfortable in the summer so take that as very serious advise. The rooms, while rather small with small balconies, were clean and well provisioned. We were close to the end of the hall so didn't experience any noise issues, however further up the hall many families had their doors open trying to create drafts to cool their rooms and the conversations did carry quite loudly in those areas. Staff was friendly enough and helpful while a bit slow. I would guess because of staffing issues. Good location especially for walking around to restaurants, the park etc. It was very hard to get luggage trolleys most likely because either there weren't enough or people just weren't returning them. Would I consider staying here again? Probably in the winter I would, but not in the summer unless they install AC.
Was excited to stay in this really nice property but the room was on the highway side and with no air conditioning I had to leave the sliding door/windows open - SO NOISY and still very hot so not a good sleep at all. On the other hand the property , room, pool, outside hot tub on upper level was all super nice just don't go in hot summer weather.
I had to stay here as an emergency as my husband was in a near by hospital for 9 days after an accident. The manager David was so unhelpful and would do nothing to help me in any way. Never had treatment like this from any hotel I’ve stayed in all over the world. Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it.
It is closed due to Covid -19 and hotel is not at full capacity.
Dude where is my cookie?? That's what I asked myself all day at beaver creek. Little did I know it was here! The bartender Tia made us custom drinks which incited some philosophical discussion among friends. Then she warmed up a chocolate chip cookie cause I said I was craving one. Whadda pal!!
