Food was excellent and our server, Andrew was at the top of his game. Friendly, responsive and made the entire experience awesome.
We had a delightful dinner for four in the lovely dining room. We were delayed from our original reservation time due to a fire and interstate closure and the restaurant was very accommodating and seated us much later than we had planned. We had the fondue appetizer, and it was amazing! Amongst us, we had the mushroom ravioli, hamburger, and scallop risotto and everything was terrific! The cocktails, mocktail and service could not have been better. Strongly recommend!
The food was good and the service as well. Really enjoyed the charcuterie board appetizer.
We had a nice window table. Food was good. Mussels were served without a shell bowl and we had to ask twice for cracked pepper. Andrew was a very attentive server but he needed more staff support. They seemed understaffed for a Father's Day dinner hour. Scallops Risotto and Mushroom Ravioli were excellent.
We enjoyed our dinner. First time guests. We ordered the Dinner for two with one appetizer (mussels were outstanding), two entrees (caste iron chicken with grits & salmon with edamame & veg & corn puree - both delicious), & shared dessert (mason jar s'more/ice cream extravaganza - really wonderful). Service was REALLY excellent! Wines by the glass also great. Don't miss Stoke & Rye!
We had a birthday in our family, someone called them to tell them and they only noticed at the beginning when they brought us to the table. We were expecting at least a free drink. Anyways, food was way too greasy and the service unfortunately was really disappointing. There was only one girl which was trying to make it a good stay. Other than that they didn't asked us if we want to have more drinks after we had an aperitif (they for sure could have made more money by asking). Only after we told them they picked up the empty plates and other dishes from our table. We had to tell them we need silverware for our desert? All an all a nice location, but what is a nice location with bad service and medium good food for very high prices?
did not meet my expectations. having eaten at Elways cherry creek and Hillstone cherry creek fillet mignon was not tender, and I did not like the potatoes. having said that my son had a salmon and he liked it
Syndee is always such a pleasure. I tried the Cacio e Pepe prep'd table side and it was absolutely delicious and creamy. You can never go wrong with the rolls either. Beautiful view and dining room! Always a great experience.
The $95 Spring special is the best value anywhere in the Vail Valley. The restaurant is not crowded and the views of BC Mountain from the windows are spectacular. We've now had 3 of the 4 entrees and all were excellent. Good martinis! And if you want to splurge, share the 52 oz Tomahawk!
We were so excited for this meal - our son's first Easter and with family. If you're going to advertise an Easter buffet with an Easter bunny, DON'T take reservations after the Easter bunny has left and when your staff is going to be taking away all of the food.

Let's start with the good. The dessert table is divine. The banana bread pudding with a marshmallow topping was a home run. Stale food... Previous avocado toast was so fresh and so good and this year the bread was stale. I couldn't finish it. Something new! Biscuits and gravy, but the biscuit was a hard as a rock! King Crab! Yes, but there was no butter to dip into. I asked for butter and the server brought pads of butter (???). One mimosa at the drink bar was $15! Another example of the Westin reaching into customers pockets for more money. Just like the complementary Westin shuttle is no longer complementary! No more complimentary mimosas.
We love going to Stoke & Rye! The team always takes such good care of our children, which makes the entire event more enjoyable for all. We love splitting the appetizers and someone always gets the scallops!
The waitress was very nice and did all she could do, however the issue was in the kitchen. The food took an inordinate amount of time (waitress apologized several times) for pretty simple meals (burger, ravioli, and chicken breast). She comp'd our appetizers and bottled water. (Offered dessert, but we declined). Maybe the kitchen was severely understaffed this night, I can't be sure, but overall the experience wasn't what we had expected.
Slow service. 45 minutes to get 1 cocktail. Food not cooked great. Filets came out to the table cut which was was odd. Served on a plate with sides, there was no room to cut the piece of meat. 2 out of the 4 soups came out cold. Halibut was good, though. Restaurant was unbearably warm; our entire party was uncomfortable. Hate to leave this review, but come on. It wasn't cheap or crowded.
Each dish we ordered was absolute perfection and very delicious! So happy the smoked oysters are back! Such a delicious bite!
