Service was lacking. Food was ok. I had to flag down a server to take my order, I was not read the special but overheard it at another table. my server was apparently busy bartending and serving a large table. Scenery was beautiful.
The service was excelllent. Our server was Uncle Alex he was outstanding and made for a special night. We will return next year and hope to experience another night with great food and excellent service from Alexander.
This was a surprise and special treat. First: Great menu. Second: Great drink list and wine list; Third: Great ambiance and seating; Fourth: World class waiter (Alexander!!!) who knew the kitchen and food like an old school pro. If I had a restaurant I would have stolen him away on the spot. He made sure that our first visit would not be our last. Half of the fun we had was due to Alex being our waiter. This restaurant is a must see. And the 3 plate specials were immensely great. Onion soup to die for. I wish the owners congrats! And thanks!
Food, service and ambiance were all exceptional. We had the bib salad, burger and cacio and pepe pasta - all were great. The only issue I have with coming back more often is that the entree menu isn't very interesting. All very basic stuff - salmon, roast chicken, steak, burger, seared tuna in very basic preparations. Same stuff you see everywhere. We cook a lot of these dishes at home so I'm not looking to order them when I go out. I only wish there were more interesting dishes on the menu.
Alexander was our server and he was excellent. We had our 14 month old with us for dinner and he completely catered to her, made her feel welcome and told us not to pick up anything off the floor. And when I did he reminded me that was his job and please enjoy your dinner. The food was fantastic, the service was impeccable and we will defiantly return again. Asked for Alexander. He is a top notch server with a wonderful personality !. We will see you again soon.
The food was outstanding - so good In fact we went back twice during our one week stay in Avon The salmon was phenomenal as was our server Syndee! The views of the mountains can't be beat. You will not be disappointed! Will definitely be back!
The food was very good. Our servers Spencer and Alexander were awesome. My skirt steak was overcooked and they offered a replacment but I decided on the Cacio e Pepe and it was delicious! The Sunday Brunch is to die for! Andrew was our server and he was awesome giving us great recommendations and Kathy who entertained us was amazing!
Alexander was so attentive and respectful. Some of the best service I've received. The high quality and level of service are why I continue to come each visit to the Westin. The food was delicious. The Cacio E Pepe was tasty but not served warm. The chicken was absolutely delicious.
We dined at this restaurant many years ago. It was very upscale then. Although it's more casual today, the quality of the food was not to disappoint, and the chef prepared dishes with our preferences. Our waiter, Alexander, was excellent. His communication with us and the chef resulted in an outstanding experience. We could not recommend this restaurant more.
Service is always outstanding! Everyone is friendly and helpful and it just adds to the experience. Nice cocktail list and if you are a whiskey lover then it's the place to try. Food was delicious! I had the hangar which was a perfect medium rare and my son had the ribeye. Added potatoes three ways and grilled asparagus - overall great dinner.

We have had better meals here in the past. The food did not taste special, especially for the price point and compared to prior visits. This is supposed to be. Richard Sandoval kitchen, but it was not impressive.
Two of us went for dinner. One meal was great, the lamb, and one meal was not good at all, the tuna. The bread was amazing. So, it all depends on what you have. My tuna was tough, so much connective tissue I couldn't cut through it with my knife. I had to scrape the tuna from in between the white tissue and couldn't eat much of it. My husband loved the lamb, which was tender and served with tasty sides.
We've come here every year for the past 10 years (several times while we're here) when we come for the summer. It's always been great even before they became Stoke & Rye. This experience was pretty bad and unfortunately we brought out of town guests with us. Our food was subpar and even inedible. My mussels were very fishy and slimy. I had a few family members try them to see if they felt the same with them. They all said they were awful. My aunts soup was cold and over peppered. They replaced it with a salad that was just okay. Our entrees were good but everything was lukewarm like they had been sitting. Overall it was a disappointment especially to take family there and raving about our previous experiences.
Alexander our waiter was AWESOME!! He warned us ahead of time that the kitchen was busy so we got our order in asap. The food was really good. Was our first time there and will be back again & will ask for Alexander! Thanks for a great dinner.
Main dishes were the best of the meal and probably where they put the most effort. Starters were sub-par for what the price- relatively tasteless and thrown together. Desserts seemed pre-packaged and an afterthought. Feedback on these observations wasn't welcome. I was disappointed.
