Five Stars - A Timeless Favorite and the Perfect Après-Ski Spot! Pazzo's Pizzeria isn't just a great pizza place; it's a beloved local institution! My girlfriend has fond childhood memories of coming here, and after trying it myself, I can absolutely see why it's endured as the best pizzeria around for so many years. The quality is consistently outstanding. After a long day on the slopes here in Vail, there's truly no better way to refuel and warm up than with a slice (or two!) from Pazzo's. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for fantastic pizza in a welcoming atmosphere. It's a must-try!

I'm about as regular as someone that lives in Texas can be... come in a couple times a qtr. It's never fast service but wow... guys... I counted 8 people working and 6 customers at the bar once a party of 3 cleared out. I came for pizza to go and a beer while I wait; something I look forward to when I'm in town. Waited 25/ 30 minutes for someone to ask what I wanted to order... sitting in the Front spot at the bar. Didn't happened. Ordered a pizza on phone from another place while sitting at bar waiting to be asked about an order. Paid for beer, after having to wait for a simple beer check for another 5 to 10 min, and left. I guess I'm not regular enough. Dang. maybe I'll find a new place

I visited Pazzo’s in February right after I tore my ACL. I wasn’t able to join my friends skiing so I thought some pizza would cheer me up but I was far from wrong. My partner and I decided on Pazzo’s from many options because it looked like the best option. I’ve worked in the food industry and work in customer service. I’ve also gotten my food safety certification three times. I watched the man making our pizza scratch his arm hair and beard then toss pizza dough (he was not wearing gloves). Then I watched him handle cash and cards, pour beer then scratch his arms some more and then toss more dough. I was disgusted and irritated because not only was I watching this happen but our server was dry and neglecting us. The restaurant wasn’t busy so I had no idea why we weren’t getting attention. I could only finish one slice of pizza knowing how the food was handled and as soon as we asked for the check our server had no problem giving us attention. I do NOT recommend this place to eat while you’re in the Avon area.

I was hungry for a couple slices of pizza so decided to stop at Pazzos in Avon. I sat at the bar and it took 10 minutes for a server to notice me. I ordered 3 slices of cheese pizza for takeout. When the boxed slices were delivered to me, I didn’t open the box to preview. I wish I did! When I got home and opened the box, I was shocked. There were 3 brunt, dry, sad looking slices (I took a photo and I wish I could attach). Needless to say, I’ll go elsewhere when I’m hungry for pizza.

Excellent food. Got a medium pepperoni pizza, garlic bread and mozzarella sticks. The crust was perfectly cooked and delicious, and the garlic bread was knocked out of the park. The mozzarella sticks were a perfect balance of cheese and breading. Service was fantastic, our server was the perfect amount of attentive and her attention to detail was great. Awesome atmosphere too!
