POWDER 8 CUT EMPLOYEE DISCOUNTS IN HALF, DON'T COME HERE. Employees at Beaver Creek got their discount cut in half this year. Last year they got 50% off a meal, now it's 25% off one item, and Vail Resorts doesn't pay enough for their employees to eat here every day, even though it's the only accessible and convenient restaurant on the mountain for beginners.
Food is mediocre. I mainly wrote this to tell people to not get the ramen. Its the worst ramen I've ever had. For that price I shouldn't wanna throw it in the trash after a single bite.
Bit into raw chicken tenders.

The food is good but it's insanely expensive, $7.50 + tax for a Gatorade feels unbelievable

Massive place at the base of the mountain. Had live music one night and can sit outside (self seating at least in the spring) to bring your own stuff or grab food/beer and enjoy the views and firepit. This is where there are fresh cookies brought out in the afternoon. When I went food wasn’t available but the bar was open and very reasonably priced for the location! Great casual spot to put your feet up!

Pitchers of beer? Check. Shot-ski? Check. Live music? Check. Good après Energy? Check. Powder 8 is your no-fuss après spot at the base of the mountain by Centennial Lift (#6). The outside patio by the fire pit is a great spot to watch skiers and snowboarders take runs down the mountain. Or, grab an inside spot to watch some live music (which they have on most afternoons). Powder 8 is great for larger groups looking to celebrate after a great day on the slopes! Visit findyourslope.com for more reviews!

Five employees were standing around playing on their phones and nobody would take our order. We asked repeatedly, and they looked up briefly before returning to the phones. Waste of time. Much better options are around rather than paying $30 for a burger here.
Much better now
Powder 8 is a great mid-day lunch lodge for skiers and snowboarders alike. Compared to mid mountain lodges, Powder 8 stands out. Plenty of comfortable seating (never had to make a reservation, and still got to sit down whenever I wanted to), many food options (burgers, chicken, pizza, asian, etc), and live music every day too! When visiting Beaver Creek, I recommend that Powder 8 is the place for you.
Greates costumer service, specially from Zach, Bryan and Jeff, those guys are simply amazing! They are welcoming, professional and they know they’re clientele
