I tried this place after hearing great things about it but the customer service was awful. An employee named Megan was extremely rude and made our experience awful. She was very unapproachable and acted like I was bothering her when I asked for a sample. (they no longer give out samples) But when my husband asked for help she was extremely eager to please him and made herself very approachable to him. This behavior is completely unacceptable for a business and lessons need to be given to the employees, Megan especially, on good customer service skills. I do not recommend this place.
I appreciate and understand how difficult it is for service industry workers. And I tip extremely well to show my appreciation. I went into this establishment to get a gelato for myself and a pup cup for my canine. Moderately overpriced. That's cool. It is Beaver Creek. However when the young lady at the register did not have enough command of the English language to complete the sale, and the line was backing up, I bailed. I won't be back. You can go to the well run convenience store at the other end of the plaza and get a pint of premium ice cream for less than a scoop of this establishment's gelato.
Awesome for sweet treats and coffee. Recommend the chocolate crepe and banana sorbet.
The brownies looked amazing. We got the Reece’s peanut butter one to go. I should have taken a picture of the smooshed thing, looked nothing like the ones in the display. I was ok with that. Got home and dug in. Looks can be deceiving. It was nothing special, just ok. Disappointed.
Good gelato, good coffee, high prices, but to be expected in a vacation town like this.
No sampling for the gelato. I don’t think I have ever come across a gelato/ice cream shop that doesn’t allow you to try the flavors.
We ended up with just a chai latte and a latte, very bad, nothing special, def not worth the wait.
The only reason we visited here was because this is the only ice cream shop in beaver creek, and as the other reviewers mentioned, they sure acted as they are lol
To the owner: The ice cream looked delicious, unfortunately we did not end up buying. The Service wasn't great. We were told no samples were given, but we though that was for people asking for a sample before purchasing, but to our surprise, even after purchase you are not allowed to taste between different flavors. I've been to many ice cream shops, this is the first one you cannot taste. This is supposed to be constructive, it doesn't cost much and customer experience would be alot different if you let people try the flavors.
I would never call what I had gelato. No flavor, watery.
I went to this shop for a scoop of ice cream. When I reached the cashier, she had difficulty hearing me and, instead of clarifying, asked if I spoke Spanish. The question was irrelevant and felt like outright profiling.
Loved the affogato and gelato selection!

We were looking for ice cream 🍨 and were pleasantly surprised to find this cool Gelato spot.
The gelato was tasty and the portion was just right for the almost $10/scoop, but it's Beaver Creek Village.
The service was underwhelming, the lady that helped us didn't speak much, they didn't have too many options to try but we each tried something.
Not a bad spot, just wish they were nicer and had more options.
I got a scoop of the caramel gelato and found little strands of what I believe to be plastic. When I brought it to the employees attention they informed me it was caramel? There was no resolution. I literally pulled these out of my mouth. It was the only ice cream shop open at the time and they sure acted like it was. Honestly ludicrous to pay that much money and get served plastic. I expect more from Beaver Creek 👎🏼
Too expensive for that Walmart ice cream taste
The latte I ordered only tasted like milk and there was barely any coffee in it. They were also playing annoying house music at the counter. Not a relaxing atmosphere.
Do not order matcha here, way too much sweetener, not enough powder. And when I asked for more they put the powder directly in my iced drink, making it chunky. $9 for the worst matcha I've ever had. Note to the owners: don't offer a new product if your employees aren't trained to make it.
