I was recommended by a coworker to visit Rocky Mountain Food Truck, which I’ve heard is quite popular in the community. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to the hype.
I ordered a chicken quesadilla and queso with chips and was given a circular buzzer to notify me when my order was ready. I informed the worker that I’d be waiting in my car, to which he (I believe he is the owner) responded with a snarky comment: "That's how this works." I brushed it off, but it left a bad first impression.
I waited 31 minutes in my car, parked close to the truck, but the buzzer never went off. I was the only one in line when I ordered, so I assumed they must have been busy fulfilling other orders. However, no one had explained whether the buzzer had any limitations in range or functionality.
When I finally went to check on my food, the owner noticed me, grabbed my order, and opened the door. I calmly mentioned that the buzzer never went off. Instead of acknowledging the issue or apologizing, he put my food down without a word and shut the door. I found his dismissiveness incredibly rude and unprofessional.
Feeling conflicted, I decided I couldn’t enjoy the food after such an unpleasant interaction. I returned the food (didn’t even open the bag) and politely requested a refund, explaining that it was due to the poor service. The owner immediately got defensive, claiming it wasn’t his responsibility to find me and insisting that he had buzzed me multiple times. I disagreed because I was parked nearby, and it was clear the buzzer had malfunctioned.
Instead of taking accountability or showing understanding, he became loud and confrontational, saying, “It’s not taking any skin off my back,” as he processed the refund. At that point, I remained silent and watched until the refund was issued before walking away.
I rarely write reviews, but the lack of accountability and outright dismissive attitude compelled me to share my experience. This food truck is well-regarded in the community, so I expected much better treatment. Please do better and ensure every customer is treated with respect, regardless of how busy or frustrated you and your staff might be.
By the way, this was at the food truck location behind the gas station.
If you like eating your food out of a served puddle lf grease, This is your spot. Its as if the cook scooped all the grease when preparing the burrito. Drips grease everytime you bite into it. Carnitas super salty. Meat is not seasoned . I felt disgusted . Burrito is soggy and saturated . Small size burrito for price

Honestly can't say anything about the food, because when I finally was able to get parked and walked the block to the food truck, I was told that they were out of the ingredients to make what we wanted to order. Since the owner is too sensitive to take critique, let me add that since he seems to believe himself to be intellectually superior, he should have had enough sense to close the truck for the day instead of remaining open to tell people that they had wasted time on the trip. I already thought that the people living in Colorado were a little slow. I do appreciate this jerk proving me correct. Don't waste your time with Rocky Mountain Taco.
LOVE THIS PLACE! Food is delicious, staff is awesome and accommodating, and atmosphere is fun. Highly recommend!

Great food. Fresh and delicious for an amazing price. Veggie and gluten free options. Loved the salsa bar selection also. Very nice people. Will support again!
Tasted great! Ordered with only one person ahead of us, and got the food for three (3) people in about 5 minutes. None of the outdoor seating had cover, so was a bit hot being in direct sunlight.
Vegetarian options: The hippie crack burrito was really good.
Parking: There's a small bit of parking near the truck, and more miscellaneous places a bit further.

Food was quick, authentic, and delicious. Got 2 tacos for $6 and handed them a $10. Housemade sauces were free to add at the window. The hot sour cream had a serious kick in the best way.
