They let dogs enter the main dining area. The food is not the same as it was years ago when we first visited. It's decent.

If the restaurant screws up n Order, it is fairly common practice that you either comp them a drink or don’t charge for the appetizer you delivered after they were already eating their entrees. Apparently not at Sauce On The Creek.

I used to go here a long time ago and I couldn’t remember why I stopped. Now I remember, the food is grossly overpriced. I paid $38, $50 with tip and taxes for a basic fettuccine Alfredo. The fact that sauce can’t even bother with putting seasonings or mushrooms to make it any more different it’s hilarious. This place is your typical tourist gouger. Nobody will read these kinds of reviews and they will still get the business. This is another restaurant in the vail area that doesn’t care about quality but only profit margins. Also, this is a corporate owned business with several other locations and types of businesses. They don’t care about anything but your money. I wish this place would actually care about quality. It would be better if they shutdown and someone else came in.

This little Italian place has good food and fast service. We came in with a group of 14. They had a table ready and waiting when we came in. They brought our drinks and food out quickly for such a large group. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. The prices were fair for the area. I will happily return to this location on my next visit.

Great food and waitress was great.

Penne alla vodka was extremely garlicky and greens tasted like straight vodka. Margarita pizza was mediocre and had chunks of garlic in it. Overall, way to garlicky and just did not taste good. Brussel sprouts were good though. Would not recommend.

Our family of five went here on a Thursday night during Spring Break. We got reservations easily. To be totally fair, my husband I chose wine tastings that were $35 each, so that was $70 out of the gate. But from there, we got two apps (cheese bread and calamari), 3 “adult” meals (the salmon, the penne vodka with chicken, and the shrimp diablo dish) plus one buttered penne with meatballs(adult portion) and a kids buttered penne with a side of chicken. While everyone found their food enjoyable (not amazing, but good), our total bill was over $300 before tip. That felt insane for what we ordered. We won’t be back as a result.

This place is a gem! We ordered calamari to start, garlic bread, tomato soup, mushroom ravioli, chicken parm, pizza, and tiramisu, and everything was excellent, really top notch. This is truly one of the better Italian spots in CO.

Thoroughly enjoyable italian restaraunt. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering that this is a ski country location. I loved the smells and atmosphere. Had the crab coquettes and lobster ravioli, both were delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive, which was impressive considering how busy they were.

It was busy and a little loud to hear your conversation but overall I would very much recommend everything about the verity and service if you are even a little bit feeling Italian food.
