Seriously, the best food I have had in the state of Colorado since I moved to Denver in 1995.
Congrats to Sadie, her partners, and their crew for offering a beyond tasty, carefully crafted, diverse menu that satisfies local and traveling patrons without a hefty price tag. Friendly mountain service, fair prices, and a rustic, clean environment is a smart choice whether passing through or looking for a destination spot in the mountains.
The mussels and clams dinner (served in a chorizo garlic sauce with white wine, shallots, and butter) was truly out of this world! I am from the east coast and these are the best mussels I have ever had! The salmon skewers and the corn frittata apps were super tasty. All three plates had perfectly balanced flavors, and along with the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, this is a place I can’t wait to come back to.

I have to be honest about the atmosphere in this place, when I walked in I felt like there was a smell of polished wood and dirty socks. Perhaps because it was winter. And the set up did not allow for enough warmth in the winter. However, our server was on top of things and very friendly, it is too bad I don't remember her name so I could specifically compliment her. Other than the French fries, the food was fantastic, and totally worth it. My wife and I both loved our burgers, they were amazing!

You can't go wrong at 2 Dads (and a mom, Sadie:). Sadie is always attentive and sweet, offering suggestions for their phenomenal food and drinks. Everything on the menu is made to order and feels like home cooking; my favorites are the candied brussel sprouts, mussels, and pizza. Live, love local, and support small businesses!
Vegetarian options: Items can be made without meat to accommodate a vegetarian diet.
