Casa Sanchez, a Bailey eatery we've heard good things about, was where we had Saturday supper. The last time we were in this building it was occupied by The Smiling Pig, a BBQ joint that was okay. Funny, the decor is still the same!
The service and the food were exceptional. The roasted tomatillo and avocado salsas were nice variations from the norm. Our wings were breaded, fried well and drenched in a delicious red chile sauce with strong black pepper flavor.
We shared a combo plate with a chicken chalupa, a crispy chile relleno and a pork tamale, all of which along with the sides were top notch. It was a wonderful meal with wonderful company.
Extra points: we left our to-go box on the table and our server ran out to the parking lot with it.

The food is good and consistent. Portions are large but our absolute favorite part is our server, Nikki! She is amazing. Her personality is so sweet and attentive. She's always gotten our order petfect, is so efficient and checks back with us to see how we're doing on drinks. She is a really wonderful asset to this restaurant and is 100% the reason we eat here.

We recently ate here for the first time, and we will be back! I would also try the other Casa Sanchez locations. The service here is fast and all the people who work here are so friendly. We had the combo plate and the pregnant burrito, both of which were huge, delicious, hearty plates of food. The two salsas that come with the chips are more complex and interesting than the typical red salsa other restaurants serve. And the prices are a dream in today’s economy; our total bill for 2 people including a couple of beers was $38. Can’t beat it.

As a Texan, I have finally found a place that scratches that mexican food itch. From tacos, burritos, salsa, etc. ITS ALL DELICIOUS. Order your marg on the rocks, though - they havent quite mastered a frozen margarita.

I think this place has good reviews because the there’s not much else around for competition. The food was very mediocre, but the margs were strong and the service was good. Our waiter brought us free shots at the end of the night which was fun and nice.
