Well worth the stop. The 1/4 lbs. hot dog with red chili and shredded cheese is amazing. The customer service is bar none.
I arrived at 4 thinking I had an hour to spare. However they had just changed their hours to close at 4 instead of 5. Instead of sending me on my way empty handed, they whipped me up the hot dog right then and there. They even threw in some chips. They are amazing. Thank you so much guys!!!!
If you get the chance definitely go get a hot dog there.

This is a must have when going to or through Bailey. It's just so fun and the jalapeno elk dog is so delicious! Definitely recommend checking out at least once!

Overall a fantastic experience. The employees were so nice and the food was delicious. There are plenty of picnic tables to choose from and after you eat you can treat yourself to some ice cream or shake while you enjoying nature and the river. There is also the opportunity to checkout and buy local art work! So much going on in one little place.
Perfect stop for a roadside snack and super friendly staff.
A hot dog shop in the middle of the mountains. Say no more.
Was great experience wish I lived closer...

This was a fun stop. We ordered a kids hot dog and a hatch chile & cheese sausage. The food was fine (I liked the sausage) but definitely overpriced for what it was.
There's also an ice cream window on the side. We ordered a milkshake which was pretty good.
Overall I wouldn't come for the food but it was worth checking out.
We stopped here on 6/12/25, on our way home from the Sand Dunes. Aside from being out of two of their specialty dogs (that we came for), the prices are very high for the quality of the product. A kids hot dog is $7.50⦠just for the dog, no sides⦠and is the same quality I can get at the grocery store. The bun was way too big for the dog and my daughter could hardly take a bite of it. I have no desire to return.
That said, the gentleman who served us was extremely kind and friendly and itās a fun little (literally little) atmosphere.
Beautiful little road side stop. Great seating and scenery. Wonderful service. Canāt wait to come back!
Food is not very good at all and it so over priced. I couldn't believe I paid almost $40 for an elk sausage and a green chili sausage. That didnt include any sides or drinks. Just the sausages. The little store thats connected to it wasn't open. Just really dont reccomend this place until they can get real with what pricing should be. Its astonishing how much they are charging for such marginal food.
Had a delicious jackalope dog. Had no idea this place was real after watching South Park. We were driving to FairPlay when we noticed the iconic hotdog. Such a sweet spot by the river and delicious options of hotdogs and toppings. Thereās inside bar seating, patio seating, and an area by the river.
