$14/$15 for a sandwich is ridiculous.

Food was ok. Not great. Burger bun was really crumbly and burger was overcooked.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair will need to be able to do stairs.

If I could give the food and service less than a star I would. We went last week for lunch, waited 30 minutes to get a drink, never got menus and waited an hour for our food. People who got there after us in big groups had been served and left before we got food. Would not recommend.

My girlfriend and I entered the establishment
We were greeted by a friendly waitress, after the experience we left feeling horrible for that poor girl, let me tell you why. Right off the bat we were told we could not sit outside because it was saved for dogs, to our amazement there was not 1 dog but a grumpy old man sitting outside that turned out to be the owner. After asking why we could not sit outside we were told it was because the owner told them specifically not to seat people outside because he likes his space, we only chose this place because of the outdoor seating so it was extremely disappointing. Now for the food, it was all disgusting freezer food, fry’s dry, sandwich dry wings were extremely salty, and on top of that they did not have ribs, which coming from Texas is laughable for a BBQ restaurant. We will not be going back and I discourage any passer Byers from stopping at this place. You think the food would be quality for the price they are asking. also i forgot to mention the fly’s that were mating on top of me while I tried to consume this garbage. Don’t go here.

Good news the beer was good. Brisket very tough and chewy no smoke flavor
Understaffed and slow on food delivery. Sorry but once was enough here.

We happened to be driving through town at lunch time and stopped here on a whim. And we are SO glad we did. The food is excellent!! This is the best fried okra I’ve ever tasted. We all got different meats (pulled pork, brisket, and a skirt steak sandwich) and they were all perfectly prepared. The flavors were outstanding. The waitstaff were also very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was comfortable. Highly recommend stopping here—you won’t be disappointed!

Coming from Kansas City and grilling and smoking all my own meats, my expectations are high. I would say this is the best BBQ in CO that I've found so far. Food was good, drinks were super reasonably priced and you can play pool for free! The staff was friendly and the food really hit the spot! Glad I stopped in, and I'll totally return! I had the brisket sandwich and while the brisket was dry (wasn't pre-sauced) it was still quite tender and delicious. I highly recommend this spot!

After an hour wait to get brisket sandwiches, chicken tenders and onion rings, the food gets to our table lukewarm warm. I never had soggy onion rings before…. That was a first. We ad two orders of pickle fries, they looked completely different from each other. The Brisket meat was cold, dry and fatty. They are way overpriced too! Don’t go there …. I can’t believe this place has any good reviews. Yuck

The ribs were way too fatty at the ends and had almost no meat on them. literally as thin as my car key. and the sauce they provided wasn’t great. Definitely not worth what they charged me.

The only reason that the pig is smiling is because he gets the last laugh when no one wants to eat his flesh when this place is done with it. We stopped in here on the way back from a lake trip because we were starving. We waited two minutes at the door of a mostly empty restaurant before anyone even made eye contact with us, let alone seated us. When they did, it was at a filthy table with flies buzzing all around it because they had the kitchen door propped wide open. After waiting another eternity just to get tap water and put orders taken, we were told that they were out of pork, so the ($17!!!) pulled pork sandwich from the inkjet printed menu was not available. Really? How does a BBQ restaurant called the Smiling PIG run out of pork. The even more expensive brisket sandwich was awful. Bland, tasteless, sloppy joe-esque mystery meat on an untoasted Costco bun. Good sauce can raise the game on bad BBQ, but their sauces were even worse. The runny main sauce tasted like equal parts vinegar and A-1 steak sauce, and the other one tasted like equal parts of the first sauce and French's mustard. Okra was from bag of frozen I think, and the fries were the same. Relying on the massive weekend traffic on the 285 corridor might keep the doors off this place open, but the proprietors should be ashamed of the quality and experience they are providing. I've had better BBQ at some of the fast food BBQ chains in town, and at about 1/10 the cost.

Same problem as always, staff can not handel the crowd even though there are technically hardly any people there, wonder why. Waited 20 min for our drinks. Guy across from us had to get new ribs cause the old ones were pòop! Just go to crossroads it's the best restaurant around.
