Coffee was really good but we told the baristas we want to work and hang out in the shop for a while. We got our coffee and 5 minutes later they told us we had to leave bc they were closing. Online and on the store door it said they weren’t closing for another 2 hours? Super annoying. We asked why didn’t they tell us when we ordered and they said they were scared too? I won’t go back. Also WiFi does not work.

I had the $12 avocado toast. It looked like avocado spread to me and there was barely any of it. It was topped with some hard winter tomatoes. (There are better tomato options at the grocery) There was no feta but there was a tiny bit of greens with balsamic. You would think for $12 it would be real avocado in sufficient quantity that you could actually taste it. ... And you're expected to bus your own table. Latte was good.

Finally a proper cafe. Try finding a breakfast sandwich on a Monday in Aspen and you’ll blow $12 on parking only to be told by a rude barista their kitchen is closed despite what their website says. Ended up here and, though the breakfast menu had ended for the day, they made me one anyway. Plus, free parking. Will be coming back.

This is THE local coffee shop hang out in Basalt. I feel like every time I come here, I run into 2-3 people that I know. Their coffee is actually really good, the outdoor patio is awesome in the summer, and it's a great place to take business meetings. Also, their creme filled donuts are SO good. I wish Willits had more of a local coffee spot like this, so I always drive over just to take meetings because this place is much better than going to a corporate Starbucks.
