“Stopped in for lunch. Felt a little attitude coming in solo. Kinda used to that, but lost a star for it. My server, however was amazing. My salad, wine, and desert was delicious. So maybe 4.9 stars overall.”

“We want to give a big shout out to Amando & Maria at Jalisco Grill! Jalisco's catered out daughters wedding and they are absolutely amazing! Armando, Maria and their team did a fabulous job. They served a taco bar with 3 kinds of meat and a vegetarian option. Appetizer options were bacon wrapped shrimp, taquito's, chips and salsa with queso and guacamole. Everyone loved the food! We highly recommend them! Choose local you will be so happy you did!!”

“This is a food truck parked next to a gas station, but don't be discouraged. The atmosphere is ok, it's nothing special - a couple umbrella-tables next to the truck and a few benches on the lawn, but in terms of food - it's a high cousin. Their tacos are phenomenal and very generous. I'm not sure about burritos and burgers, they seem ok. I had fish tacos and they were excellent - some of the best I've had.
This place does not sell drinks, but you can buy soft drinks at the gas station and alcohol in the liquor store next door to the gas station. However, keep in mind drinking in public places is unlawful.
Would certainly come to this place again!”

“This restaurant is fantastic! We have been getting take out here since COVID began and it is our piece of normal. Their online ordering and ability to reorder past orders make it easy to pick up on the way home. The burgers are great but I just tried the BLT grilled cheese and it is my new favorite!”

“Atmosphere is good. Service is friendly. Drinks and food are on par. But every time we come in to do some work while drinking coffee we always have Internet issues. We just want to work on our computers while enjoying our coffee and we spend the majority of the time just trying to troubleshoot the network. Not really worth it.”

“El Korita in Basalt was an amazing find! From the moment we walked in, the service was friendly and welcoming, and the food absolutely delivered. We tried the asada steak, chili relleno, tamales, Molcajete, and steak fajitas — every dish was packed with flavor and made with care.
The asada had a perfect grilled flavor, the chili relleno was delicious, and the tamales were full of authentic taste and texture. The Molcajete was a standout with incredible flavors coming together, and the steak fajitas were cooked perfectly with that sizzling presentation you hope for.
You can tell this place takes pride in their food and hospitality. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and memorable. We would definitely recommend El Korita to anyone looking for great Mexican food in Basalt — we’ll absolutely be back!”

“Mezzaluna feels like home, and a big part of that is the incredible staff. They're always welcoming, friendly, and make you feel like part of the family.

The pizzas are some of my favorites in the valley, and I truly appreciate that whenever I bring my pup and sit on the patio, they always bring her a water bowl without me even having to ask.

I've also been to two of their Tuesday night live music events, and both have been fantastic. Great music, food, people, and a wonderful atmosphere.

Mezzaluna is one of those places I find myself coming back to again and again. Highly recommend!”

“We came in and immediately were offered a table. The man serving us looked an awful lot like he would be named “Zane,” so I asked him. And it turns out he was THE “ZANE” in the flesh. His service was great, and he was a good hang. I had also thought the menu was a little basic, but when I got my chicken sandwich, the patty was HUGE! They don’t skimp on the meat, that is for sure. If we lived in Basalt, we would for sure go again, but we’re only here a couple days.”
