“WOW. My boyfriend and I did a date night here while we’re staying in basalt and the food, service, ambience was outstanding. The portions were perfect, cocktails were great, and everything we had was perfectly flavored without being too heavy. I’m from the south and this was some of the best southern food I have ever had.I highly recommend the jalapeño cheddar cornbread (comes with honey butter), Caesar salad with Cajun shrimp, shrimp & grits, and the chicken and waffles.Wish this was in Denver so we could go to it all the time!!!Sarah, our server, was also amazing. Very knowledgeable, made great recommendations and great drinks!!!”

“Had a super lovely dinner here with my friends. The restaurant feels very intimate and cozy. We enjoyed the mama’s curry and the garlic noodle! Both are so tasty. We didn’t expect the food to be so authentic considering it’s a ski town. The chef and his mama are such nice and genuine people. I was moved by their restaurant stories. “Everything from top to bottom was awesome. These people grasped me as soon as I came in. I just wanted pizza to go. Sat down and found a home away from home. Becky, Josh, Maddison were all top tier awesome. I eat here every night if I could.When you’re in town come grab a bite seriously. They’ll even custom make your order with whatever toppings you like. “Wendy's is Wendy's and that's that. It's consistent and reliable. I usually get spicy nuggets or a jr. cheeseburger and am always satisfied. I recently tried the crispy chicken sandwich though and it was pretty impressive for what it was! I did think that the person working was a little rude and was SO stingy with the sauce. I will say it's gotten a little more expensive since I was last there!”

We had one of the best mimosas around and the Chicken Fried Steak and The Biscuits and Gravy were delicious! Wow. “This restaurant had a fun vibe. Our waitress was so awesome. We had the hummus platter and gyro/chicken sandwich and chili. I wanted the French onion soup but didn’t order, so I guess I’ll have to go back! Food was good.”

“I love Bonfire coffee! It has a rich, roasted flavor with no bitterness. They offer ColoraDough donuts but ours were slightly stale - day old? But the atmosphere was just right, a quiet backroom for relaxing and chatting.”

“I've been going to Peppino's since I moved here in 1998. Best pizza in the valley. I grew up in Chicago in the 60s and 70s where great local pizza was part of my heritage. Peppino's delivers the goods. Great ingredients, great service, always delicious!”

“Had dinner at Homestead Bar and Grill last Saturday and it was beyond delicious! Chef Tommy has outdone himself with the new winter menu. I had the crab cake special and they were the best that I have ever had! Seriously better than any that I have had on the East or West Coast! His mashed potatoes were stellar as well and I am a mashed potato snob! The Tomahawk pork chop was also phenomenal and Alex had the ricotta dumplings, which were also delicious! Can’t wait for them to open again next week after their holiday break!”

I would highly recommend the Sausage and egg wrap with the salsa to dip and also the RUBEN is to die for and has a delicious purple cabbage that is unlike anything you can get around here! So tasty. Wonderful service but it closes at noon and sometimes sells out so you have to arrive early!”

From the dog, Lou, who lounges around and greets people, to the kind faces at the counter who make you feel like you're walking into your best friend's place. The food and drinks are so good, too! “Such a great place to eat and have some beers with friends. This pub has a great environment, a friendly staff and an even better selection of craft beer. My kids enjoyed the burgers and Mac and cheese. My wife and I indulged in the BBQ pulled pork. We also tried a couple of different beers and hard seltzer. Both great!! “Paid about $39.00 for 2 people which got us 2 drinks and 2 subs. They give you a lot of food, so honestly just ordering one sub for 2 is a solid plan. Seems like the locals like this spot and I think they were ordering slices of pizza which might be the way to do it. Place was busy especially since it was noon, so older kids and construction crew came through. Otherwise it was a nice little quiet spot, parking might be sparse when tourists are in town though.”

“WOW - Unbelievable little gem of a restaurant! Every dish that came out was better than the one before and the owner was incredibly welcoming and kind. Highly recommend the Oysters Rockefeller and don't skip the dessert. It was a decent drive from Snowmass but make the trip and you won't regret it.”

“Two Rivers is a amazing local place in the valley! The food is always good ! I recommend going in for breakfast ! Pat and Rick built a great restaurant in the late 70’s and it’s still a great “go to” place to meet up with friends! They have also been very active and giving to the community! Go in and enjoy!!!!”
