“Amazing multilingual staff and authentic delicious Mexican and diner food. Tried their smothered breakfast burrito and an Irish coffee with whisky and Irish creme. Would go again! Try their Mac and Cheese!”
“I've been going to Peppino's since I moved here in 1998. Best pizza in the valley. I grew up in Chicago in the 60s and 70s where great local pizza was part of my heritage. Peppino's delivers the goods. Great ingredients, great service, always delicious!”
“This place rocks! My wife and I have been coming here for 20+ years and it has never failed us! Their own salsa, homemade jam, great food and great coffee! A ten out of ten!”
“This restaurant had a fun vibe. Our waitress was so awesome. We had the hummus platter and gyro/chicken sandwich and chili. I wanted the French onion soup but didn’t order, so I guess I’ll have to go back! Food was good.”
“Great place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch. Also serving up delicious espresso and lattes. I would highly recommend the Sausage and egg wrap with the salsa to dip and also the RUBEN is to die for and has a delicious purple cabbage that is unlike anything you can get around here! So tasty. Wonderful service but it closes at noon and sometimes sells out so you have to arrive early!”
“I love this place. 100% authentic Mexican cooking. Every time I get tacos to go, I wish I ordered more because the fresh made corn tortillas are so damn good. They have a great selection of high quality beef cuts which is great to see in the valley. Fresh chicharonnes, jarritos, tostadas, they have it all. The owners and employees are awesome! Good vibe and great food. They're packed at rush hour for a good reason. It's well worth the wait. 5 stars”
“Beijing Tokyo has been my favorite place to go too since I was young, it's nostalgic and overall my favorite place to go too.Kid-friendliness: We usually go with a bunch of kids, we're a family a five sometimes the kids bring there friends and overall really good care and respect”
“If you don't speak spanish, there may be communication issues. Aside from that, this is one of the best food truck style places I've been to. Just order en español.”
“The food and the service was very good as always. The staff is friendly. While the food quality was very good I can't help but notice the portions get smaller all the time while the price stays the same or goes higher. Despite that this is one of our favorite restaurants in the valley.”
“Benoit has done a beautiful job : the team is outstanding, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is elevated. It's not cheap but neither is the product. Worth every penny every time. (Also - the cocktails and wine are exceptional!)”
“Carbondale Beer Works has been a pillar of downtown Carbondale for years. In that time, they have perfected their craft and honed their identity to become one of the valley's very best rooms to enjoy alcohol and food in. The beer taps are limited, but varied and delicious enough to satisfy any flannel clad aficionado with a twirly moustache. Guest taps and seltzers ensure no one who wants to sip suds will get left behind.Beer is in the name, but whiskey and cocktails really run away with the show here. They have the best curated whiskey selection anywhere in a hundred mile radius, and also one of the largest. A real focus is made on regional and state distilleries, whom they partner with for pairing event dinners that are way better than they have any right to be at a brewery. The food across the board is actually far above average for pub fare, with a surprisingly varied menu and some of the lowest prices for quality grub in the area. Even on their busiest nights, service has always been efficient and friendly.Above all Carbondale Beer Works has gone above and beyond to foster and nurture a real sense of community. Distiller dinners, bingo and trivia nights (often in support of local charities), concerts, and much much more. All focused on connecting with their community and anyone as in love with the art of brewing and distilling as they are. Oh, and five dollar high shelf whiskey pours on Thursdays. That alone is enough to keep this bourbon dork's soul fulfilled for years to come.”
“Spiciest noodles I ever had. Delicious beer to wash it down. Nice atmosphere, cool staff. This place is often packed so you might need to wait a bit for a table.”
“Thank you for the service and the spice. Kudos to the gentleman in hat with blue and white squares shirt who make us smile with his service and conversation. ;) . The spice girls. 11/21.”
“Had dinner here over the weekend and everything was SO good- far exceeded any expectations. We started with the Pear and Goat Cheese Salad and Calamari and Shrimp. Both were fantastic. I love how the goat cheese was fried and served warm over the salad, and the calamari had a perfect balance of shrimp. Not to mention the Chipotle Remoulade sauce was perfection. The pears on the salad were also delicious. Then we got the Cornbread Muffin, Bison Meatballs, and Pork Mac n Cheese. The cornbread was pretty good- not mindblowing but certainly not disappointing. We enjoyed it with the peach reduction from the meatballs, too. That peach reduction was SO good! And while my first tastes of the pork mac started off without a bang, it got better and better with each bite and became a favorite!Lastly, we went with the recommendation of Maple Butter cake with Cinnamon and Brown Sugar ice cream. Absolutely delicious. While I am sure the apple pie is equally amazing, I wanted to try something different with the cake, and am so glad we did.All in all, the meal was 11/10! We were still thinking about it the next day. Would absolutely love to return next time I am back in Carbondale. Also, this experience made me feel like so much food in Denver is good, but not amazing.I want to add the ambience and service was also exceptional!Thank you so much for a great experience and dinner! It absolutely contributed to our amazing weekend spent in the area.”
“My favorite kind of high-end dining features sophisticated comfort food, where stalwart staples are executed with precision and flair. So yes I may be any easy mark for Tiny Pine Bistro, but those dauphinoise style taters can speak for themselves just fine. The environment is cozy and relaxed, the service effortless, genuine, and attentive. Here a classic fried chicken entree sits comfortably next to a more refined tagliatelle pasta dish. Their secret weapon being that there is nothing actually classic about anything on the menu. Familiar favorites are injected with innovative ingredient combinations to mouth-watering effect. The appetizer game here is on another level, and these are without doubt the best craft cocktails you will find in town.Downtown Carbondale's dining scene is a self-sustaining atmosphere; where the old guard of main street's restaurants stand guard, holding off any attempts to invade their domain with anything less than exemplary. Good restaurants come and go here with shocking regularity, partly because being good simply isn't good enough. In such a small town with so much quality food to choose from, you just have to have that special extra "something" to endure. Thankfully, I truly do believe Tiny Pine Bistro has that extra something, and I'm not just selfishly saying that because I want more of those potatoes.”
