“Had dinner at Homestead Bar and Grill last Saturday and it was beyond delicious! Chef Tommy has outdone himself with the new winter menu. I had the crab cake special and they were the best that I have ever had! Seriously better than any that I have had on the East or West Coast! His mashed potatoes were stellar as well and I am a mashed potato snob! The Tomahawk pork chop was also phenomenal and Alex had the ricotta dumplings, which were also delicious! Can’t wait for them to open again next week after their holiday break!“

“We used the Native Son after our wedding reception as an after party venue. We had been in communication with Ricky, the owner for many months leading up to the event. He was truly amazing to work with, a quick responder, and extremely helpful. He went out of his way to find us when we got to the restaurant to personally congratulate us. Everyone that joined us had a great time and we would do it all over again!“

“Our sushi was so good I got the same roll [Kawaii] the next day as well. Additionally , we got another roll, Crab Rangoons, & Spicy Edamame. The Spicy Edamame was a perfect blend of spice & flavor. Great ambient lighting & decent sized seating areas.“

“I honestly don’t get the bad reviews—people are being way too picky. The food was phenomenal and reminded me of Texas, just really solid, authentic American breakfast. The open kitchen and chill, kind staff made the vibe even better. One of the best breakfast spots in the valley, easily.“

“El Korita in Basalt was an amazing find! From the moment we walked in, the service was friendly and welcoming, and the food absolutely delivered. We tried the asada steak, chili relleno, tamales, Molcajete, and steak fajitas — every dish was packed with flavor and made with care.
The asada had a perfect grilled flavor, the chili relleno was delicious, and the tamales were full of authentic taste and texture. The Molcajete was a standout with incredible flavors coming together, and the steak fajitas were cooked perfectly with that sizzling presentation you hope for.
You can tell this place takes pride in their food and hospitality. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and memorable. We would definitely recommend El Korita to anyone looking for great Mexican food in Basalt — we’ll absolutely be back!“

“Stopped here on way to Aspen. The food is 100% authentic, amd DELICIOUS! The service was great, as well...and the atmosphere is culturally magnificent. It all looked and smelled delicious. It was packed at 11:30 AM on a Saturday morning, so I am pretty sure it is a popular establishment.“
