“I live in the Eagle valley and have eaten at China Gourmet many times over the 25+ years they’ve been in business. The food is always delicious and the service exceptional. I’ve never experienced bugs or metal in my food or extra charges (maybe because I pay with only one card) like other reviewers have stated. The two lady servers are always extremely friendly and attentive, even when very busy. Maybe it’s because I’ve taken the time to ask them their real Chinese names, not their westernized fake names. I’ve found, in general, service is better if you simply ask your server their name and don’t treat them like servants. Just saying.“

I will highly recommend this guy very professional very reasonable knows what he’s doing. “Got a Maui Chicken Bowl at the Artisan Rhapsody event in Vail this past weekend. It was delicious! The chicken was tender and the panko breading was crispy and light. The rice was perfect - neither sticky nor dry. And the sweet/tangy sauce, I could have eaten with a spoon. All of the ingredients of the bowl - rice, chicken and sauce were in excellent proportion to each other and the green onion garnish not only looked pretty against the golden chicken gave the bowl a pleasant, bright flavor pop. We bought one to share. Gobbled it up and immediately got another!“
