“My boyfriend and I absolutely love Joy Sushi! We come here pretty regularly. Spicy garlic edamame is phenomenal. We always do the salmon tempura and something else for balance. It’s a really cute spot and feels intimate at the same time. Very friendly servers. Highly recommend.“

“Food was great overall, and the ambiance was wonderful. The service was prompt and food arrived very quickly. The only thing that slightly disappointed me was the side salad as I was hoping for a more traditional Austrian or a German salad with pickled veggies and vinegarette. All the other food was delicious. We will definitely go back.“

“Best restaurant in vail for this 2026 trip service outstanding from the sommelier to our waiter they did not have Dolcetto but the sommelier suggested a great Barbera, some of my veggie side drop on the floor my bad but the waiter replaced with a full side of broccolini food was amazing the fondue and all the rest. Only bad note the coffee have asked for a single decaf espresso I got a double (as a not a single is tall no more than a finger of coffee) great Job“

“The Thai food we had was amazing definitely a must visit. They have a wide variety of vegetarian options, and everything was very flavorful. This is the best Thai food I’ve had so far. Chef Daniel did an excellent job bringing out incredible flavors in every dish. Our server, Young, was very kind and took great care of us, especially with our vegetarian requests.“

“On the receipt it said our server was Raul. He was awesome and made an iced espresso that my girlfriend thought was much better than Starbucks. The coffee creation was on the house… even the second one. The breakfast was very good and priced fairly. Because of it all, left a little over 50% tip and happy. Well done.“

“Garfinkel’s is a fantastic spot. The food and drinks are excellent, but the real highlight is the patio with its incredible view—it’s one of the best places around to sit and relax. The customer service was top-notch, and everything came out quickly. The Nashville sandwich was especially flavorful and delicious. The staff clearly works hard to keep things running smoothly. If someone had a bad experience, it likely had more to do with how they treated the staff than the quality of the place. Definitely worth visiting.“

“Lyssa and Heath served us and man they made either fun. Amazing service and a great spot for such a crowded mountain. You gotta not be scared to fight for a spot if you want immediate service or just wait for a table. But either way. Worth it. Amazing the deals and specials are sooo good for the area. “Our absolute favorite place when visiting Vail. It's the first place we stop for lunch after landing in Eagle each trip. Lunch menu is exceptional! Dinner menu is also great. We will usually eat twice each trip. Food feels fresh and thoughtful.“

“Atmosphere is like a chalet feel of wood n stone. Food was fine. Sloppy Joe was good. Chicken noodle soup was good. Pricey for the sandwich type food but we are in Vail Colorado. Daughter liked the salad. It was fine , the server was friendly. It was great to try. We were passing through to Utah.“

“Loved this place. Everything we had was great. The Truffle Tots, Coca Cola Ribs, Bully Burger, Pizza, Nachos, Wings, and of course the Sticky Toffee Pudding. This place delivered everytime we ate there(3). The best things we ate were the Sticky Toffee Pudding and the Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie. Would highly recommend and will go again if ever back in Vail.“

“While we've dined at Yama several times over the years, this visit stood out for the food, which was truly five-star—creative, well-executed, and thoroughly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the cuisine. There appeared to be significant pressure to turn tables, and we were explicitly told that our table was needed again that evening. We were given a strict time limit of one hour and fifteen minutes and began to feel rushed before our final dishes had even arrived. While I understand the financial importance of table turnover, the way this was communicated detracted from the overall experience. A more thoughtful and less hurried approach would go a long way in encouraging guests to return. We will try again due to past experience, but please take this review under consideration.“

“Wow, one of the best restaurants on Vail mountain! For starters, this restaurant blew my mind away, especially it being 2 miles high! The pulled pork was so tender, the ribs were some of the best that I have ever had, the sauce is the bomb, and the prices were reasonable for Vail! Pro tip, use your epic pass if you have it, it will save you a drastic amount of money!
Vegetarian options: This is a bbq, so there is not many veggie dishes
Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for dietary restrictions!
Parking: In terms of ski parking, there are many racks outside to “park” your skis. However, you can’t drive up to here!
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!
Wheelchair accessibility: If you are on a wheelchair and are skiing, congratulations! It is for skiers!“
“We had lunch at Wildwood Smokehouse. It's located at the top of the Wildwood lift at Vail. We each had a sandwich, shredded chicken, brisket, and pulled pork, and weall had onion rings for our side. They were all good. The shredded chicken had great smoky flavor. On the table, there are 3 BBQ sauces, OG, spicy and honey mustard.“
