“Lance was our server and he was great. If you have not had tapas before this was great. But tapas are not a lot of food. But it's a great way to try a lot of different dishes. Really liked that it was not crazy loud. Would go back again.“
“The salmon and short ribs were excellent. The strip was fatty, and therefore, not as enjoyable. Would not order that again. The truffle gnocchi was amazing. The bok choy has a good flavor but would have been better if it was been cut. It was hard to cut on the plate. The decor was great, the noise level was very high so not a great restaurant for deep conversation. Service was fantastic“
“Went to Mountain Standard twice during my week in Vail. John, manager of the bar, took my name and found me bar seats within 30 minutes both times. Great food. Don’t miss the group special for two!!Vegetarian options: Salads. Baba Ganoush.“
“We had a group of 3 people and sat out on the deck, looking at the golf course and the stunning mountain views. You can't beat that outdoor patio dining area with those views.I loved my beet salad with grilled Mahi-Mahi. My husband had the Cobb salad and our friend had the Philly Steak sandwich, both which were tasty. They have a good selection of beers on tap.“
“A culinary masterpiece where Jeremy, the ultimate sommelier, crafts an unparalleled dining experience. His wine pairings are a symphony of flavors that elevate consciousness to a whole new level. A must to anyone who craves an extraordinary sensory adventure.“
“The food was so good we ate here twice! Our server, Pierena, was so sweet. We had lunch and went back for breakfast the next day. The cafe is clean and has a comfortable atmosphere. If you look around the plates that go back are all empty. Mike, the owner took the time to speak with us too.“
“It is expensive. It is worth every penny. The food is just amazing. It is a changing menu since it sourced by seasonal fare. Move from your taste comfort zone. You will not be disappointed. The food gets 5 stars by itself; however, the service makes it 6 stars. From the greeting at the gondola, to the snow cat ride up the rest of the way to the restaurant, to the coat check, all added positively to the experience. It simply wasn’t just dinner, but an experience. When you see the view, you’ll get it.“
“A classic apres spot right off the Eagle Bahn Gondola on Lionshead Village. A shot and a beer kind of dive bar with a decent food menu. I ended up ordering the vegan bolognese after seeing it brought out for someone else. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the dish was. Not bathed in sauce and the veggies were fresh. I really enjoyed it. The place was slammed from 3-5pm with all the folks coming off the slopes. Service was slow because of that but is understandable given the number of people looking for a drink. The food came out very quickly.“
“From a wedding photographer's perspective, you really can't beat the Larkspur wedding experience! Stunning mountain views all around, an incredibly beautiful and intimate reception space, and can host one heck of a party! We recently photographed a wedding in the fall at peak colors, and WOW! The whole valley was ablaze!“
“We travel once a year to ski beaver creek and always return to Up The Creek in Vail for the magnificent view. Fantastic food. Excellent service. And everything else you can think of!!! Love the kefir lime in chicken tortilla soup! I love the relaxed atmosphere.“
“My friend and I had a lovely dining experience! The wine chosen for us by Anthony was spot on, the appetizers were very nice but the cod was fantastic. Our server, Kelly was so much fun! She was knowledgeable, funny and took great care of us!!“
“Had a great time here celebrating a birthday. The cocktails were thoughtful and very tasty. The food was fantastic as well. A great spot to get a few plates and share with the table. Our server, JP, was awesome! He was charismatic, gave great suggestions, and made the experience wonderful. 10/10 dining experience.“
