“Excellent dinner. Both the French onion soup and Clam chowder were nice. For the main, I had the Miso Chilean Sea Bass and my wife the Barbequed Scottish Salmon both of which were very good. Service was good. Nice stop.”
“Best kept secret in Vail…Welcoming, cozy dining atmosphere… Really great, diverse menu with generous portions. Prime rib is best anywhere but the other entrees are amazing as well. Authentic apple strudel for dessert.”
“Tasty and cozy! It’s a little hard to find as it’s inside the hotel, but walk in the front entrance and you can’t miss it! The food was all very good and portions were perfect. Considering the location, the pricing is reasonable as well.”
“The experience of eating at Joy is incredible, they welcome you with great warmth and the food exceeded my expectations. It's a simple, small place with spectacular food. The people who serve it are the most friendly.”
“Great restaurant. Terrific food and good service. The only drawback is they randomly close for private events. For those of us who live in the local area, could you put this on the website? It’s frustrating to walk there multiple times in the past month or so only discover the restaurant is closed.”

Leonora
“We haven't been to the Sebastian for years, the new ( to us) Leonora Restaurant was terrific. Tapas style starters were all excellent. Table favorites were the Lamb Lollipops, Grilled Octupus ( seriously the best I have had in a long time!) and scallops. The family favourite was the special Rib eye, cooked to perfection and was enough to feed the 5 of us.A special mention to Jeffrey, our server, who was engaging, welcoming, forward thinking and attentive in a nice way! Also to mention I cannot have Dairy or Wheat and all dishes I was going to eat were adjusted without issue and tasted terrific.Thank you for a great night out.”

Osaki’s
“Must try sushi place if you’re in the Vail ski area. Sushi chefs were Japanese. The sushi literally melts in your mouth. Loved their spicy rolls - it wasn’t filled with those tempura bits other sushi place uses as fillers. The fish was so so fresh. I wouldn’t go anywhere else except this place next time I’m in Vail. The servers were also knowledgeable and kind.”
“My group of 6 rarely eats out at expensive places, and we were seriously amazed at how good everything tasted!! We tried almost every dish on the menu, and tried every single dessert. We all thought everything was absurdly good and would especially recommend the lamb, wagyu steak, and scallop fagottini! We loved every single dessert, but the sticky toffee pudding cake knocked our socks off and was the entire groups favorite!”

They were not seat us until she got back I had two kids one of them had one had a broken leg and the diner would not seat us because of "company policy". I pleaded my case to the host but he had concern. No empathy at all!”
“Great Detroit style pizza. Only problem I had is that it was just for me and they only have one size, which is a large. It could only eat half but it was great. I got the pep special! Excellent.”

Each visit, we were warmly welcomed by Elena at the bar, who truly enhanced our dining experiences with her charm, friendliness, and excellent suggestions for both food and wine pairings. We can't speak highly enough of the black cod lettuce cups and any sushi selections Elena guided us towards! Thank you for the memorable moments - already eagerly anticipating our next visit!”

“Definitely the most elegant restaurant in the Vail Valley. The staff is absolutely professional. They are not rushing you like most other restaurants in the area. Excellent wine list with fair pricing. The food is well made, nicely presented and delicious. It is on the expensive side, but well worth to spend this much. It was unfair they didn't get the Michelin recommendation, we hope they will get it this year.”
“Great friendly & outstanding service. Gorgeous plate of grilled seafood with fresh baked focaccia was so delicious . I would highly recommend the mushroom ravioli.. everything was wonderful & finished with the best ever tiramisu .”
“One of our more reasonably priced meals in Vail. Solid choice for grabbing some tacos and margaritas - we tried 4 different tacos all were large and delicious (the Hot Korean was our favorite). Be aware of the hot sign on the menu, some of those tacos are extra spicy!”
“The food is very uneven. Steaks are consistently great! But other food can be very inconsistent. Had to send my Wiener schnitzel back. It was terrible. The staff responded well and comped us for it.”
“This place is worth a visit for the gorgeous glass sunroom atmosphere and friendly service. Like any buffet, you need to be a little selective (I had a dried-up eggs benedict with overdone egg), but overall, the food was good. Coffee is excellent. The selection of pastries and toppings for belgian waffles was extensive. My son and husband liked the chorizo empanadas.”
“We travel once a year to ski beaver creek and always return to Up The Creek in Vail for the magnificent view. Fantastic food. Excellent service. And everything else you can think of!!! Love the kefir lime in chicken tortilla soup! I love the relaxed atmosphere.”

“Dinner was very good. Apps were interesting with great flavors and textures. We shared the lamb as our main and it was fabulous. Host gave us a complimentary card to try the game room afterwards and it was so fun! Great overall dining and post dinner experience for my husband (foodie) and daughter (game room). Will definitely bring friends back.”
“From a wedding photographer's perspective, you really can't beat the Larkspur wedding experience! Stunning mountain views all around, an incredibly beautiful and intimate reception space, and can host one heck of a party! We recently photographed a wedding in the fall at peak colors, and WOW! The whole valley was ablaze!”
“This is a really delicious little hidden gem of sushi and Chinese food. We went with a number of Chinese friends and they really appreciated the authenticity of the menu items, the Kung Pao Chicken is especially delicious. Double black diamond quality! The sushi is also top notch and all the staff are very professional and friendly. Just be careful to make a reservation if you plan to dine in as they don't have many tables and can get busy.”

“Fun bar and food was surprisingly good. We had our 2y old with us and he was on the verge of going berserk. The waiter double timed our order. Very much appreciated the quick service. The adults without kids there seemed to be having a good time too.”
“the lady working by herself today was awesome. she did everything accurately, quickly, and with a smile even though it was fairly busy. it's unfortunate that the employees here are unable to accept tips and i hope they're getting the recognition they deserve.”
“Yummy ice cream! Tons of flavors. Had it on a VERY cold freezing night after dinner with friends. Idk why, but ice cream hits different when it's cold and frigid outdoors. Anyways - I would recommend!”
“Awesome spot. Plenty of seating, great music, friendly bartenders. Got a massive plate of nachos for $15. Saw the bartender very generously pouring jack and cokes for some other patrons. Only downside was nothing on draft. Highly ”

“Feels like eating in someone's kitchen. Very homey. The prices are far and the service is great. They have a small Parking lot so keep that in mind for groups. I recommend their biscuits and gravy!!!”
“Espresso was great. If you like craft coffee this is the place to go in Vail. Breakfast Burritos were AWESOME as well. Barista knew all of the tasting notes and brew method suggestions for each of the different bags of coffee they had available for purchase as well!”
“I called with no reservation asking if we could get in. The host / manager directed us to come in right at 5 for the bar. We were able to get seated right away and even got free sashimi while sitting at the bar. It’s one of the most welcoming restaurants I’ve been to in a while. The cocktails and sushi rolls are fantastic. The service was really what stood out though. I will definitely be coming back.”
“Friendly staff but a really small place. My biggest complaint is because it’s so tiny, when we were sitting to eat, the bathroom door was wide open. Since no one closed it for a solid 15-20 mins, it smelled like a port-a-Jon (not how you spell but you get the idea). That smell kinda ruined my appetite, TBH. That’s why they get a 0 for atmosphere.”
“My mother and I came here for dinner last night. The wings were great. The butternut squash soup was disappointing. It had no flavor and came out lukewarm. The lamb chops were very good, and she enjoyed her salad. The salmon she ordered to be added to it came out on a separate plate whole, but it was well-prepared.”
“Wonderful little French Deli in Lionshead that traditional French Cafe fare. Most is freshly made daily. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Good little spot if you want to grab something quickly on the way to the lift and don't want to break the bank doing it.Vegetarian options: Many French baked goods”

Cover is usually $20 but it seems they let locals in for free which is polarizing, but music and vibes more than make up for itVegetarian options: None no foodKid-friendliness: Absolutely notParking: No street parking park in nearby lotWheelchair accessibility: None”
“We’ve been eating lunch here everyday of our ski trip four years straight. The food is incredible, coffee is top notch, and the adult beverages are $4. Can’t beat this place.”
“One of the best places to get a bite in Vail. The food is excellent and made to order. The staff are helpful and friendly, even when they are very busy (especially on Saturday & Sunday in ski season).I recommend starting with their guacamole, then any of their burritos (especially the wet ones) are a great choice. Also, there are plenty of options for vegetarians.”
“It blows my mind that we seek this little wagon out every time we're anywhere near Vail. I'm a breakfast burrito fiend, and this place has the best breakfast burritos ever. The eggy burrito is a game changer, and the service is always quick before we hit the mountain.”
“Really nice little store a minute walk from Lionshead Gondala. Ice cream is great. Really nice staff. And surprisingly, really good prices especially for a ice cream shop in a ski town. Good spot!”

“I stopped into Vail for a couple days for business, and wanted something close to my hotel so I didn’t have to drive in the snow. The gentleman that I spoke with on the phone was very pleasant, and I was very impressed with their website and easy navigation to order. Ordered both the Mongolian beef and the kung pao chicken plus the spring rolls. Picked up my food, and brought it back to my hotel. It was packaged well which is always a good sign. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients and great flavor! I’m pleased that I stumbled upon this great restaurant! Highly recommend to anyone picky about their Chinese food!”
“It's a bit on the pricey side (average price for Vail), but the breakfast sandwiches are great. It's a super tiny store, so be prepared to bump into stuff, but it has a cozy Italian appeal and was an enjoyable experience.”
“It's my new coffee spot. Hard working nice service and the prices are reasonable. Love the skiing videos on the TV. Even though it's a subterranean location, it's clean and has a good vibe. Definitely recommend!”
“We were looking for the Gold Pan of Vail (IYKYK). We started at Chasing Rabbits, which is fine if you like to pay.a $25 cover for crappy house music that no one's dancing to and people who are trying way too hard. Not my vibe. So we came to this place and found exactly what we were looking for - great music and everyone dancing. I can't speak to the bartenders or drinks bills because someone else was buying the drinks, but we had a great time. Super fun and not pretentious.”
“I’m from out of town and I really enjoyed the warm welcome as soon as I entered the door! I was greeted with a warm welcome and smile from everyone, everything was fresh and the service was fast. The employees also had some cake that I noticed so I inquired on where they got it from, the manager told me where to get some from but he was nice enough to offer me a piece. They ended up giving me the rest of the cake, everyone at this location was so nice and I really appreciated their hospitality! Definitely recommend this location!Vegetarian options: Fajita Veggies, bean’s, beyond meat options”
