The French Toast Croissants were delicious.
Very nice food mix breakfast/brunch. Expect to wait a long time to order and get food maybe 30+minutes. The pork green chile soup is outstanding.
We visited Vail for our 10-year wedding anniversary and stopped at Big Bear Bistro for breakfast. While sipping our mimosas and waiting for our food, the chef came out of the kitchen asking if anyone was missing a strawberry Nutella crepe. We jokingly said, “We’ll take it if nobody claims it!” and without missing a beat, he smiled and said, “We have a winner!” 😂

Big Bear Bistro is a small, cozy spot that serves delicious sandwiches, including the popular Masterpiece, which features a flavorful honey balsamic glaze. The Pearson sandwich was extremely satisfying and tasty. Others raved about the chocolate and strawberry crepes, with the chocolate quality being so good. The bistro is very close to the gondola and a great spot to meet up after a morning on the slopes. The perfect breakfast sandwich exists here, with a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant being a standout. The menu items are reasonably priced, with sandwiches starting at $14.99, although sides are extra. The service is attentive and quick, with outdoor patio seating available. The staff were very nice, and any order issues were quickly fixed. It's a great option for a filling meal at a reasonable price.
