We had lunch at Wildwood Smokehouse. It's located at the top of the Wildwood lift at Vail. We each had a sandwich, shredded chicken, brisket, and pulled pork, and weall had onion rings for our side. They were all good. The shredded chicken had great smoky flavor. On the table, there are 3 BBQ sauces, OG, spicy and honey mustard.
Imagine a perfect sunny ski day, when you skied 3 hours, tired and hungry, arrived at the top of wildwood lift to smell the bbq 😋
We had the brisket sandwich and ribs, big portions enough to share for 2 person. Really tasty and fueling to ski rest of the day without stopping.

This is the best place to eat on the mountain. They are smoking the meat right there!
Great spot to stop in, warm up, and get some great BBQ. Get there before the lunch rush to make sure you get a seat. Tables by the windows have a beautiful view of the mountain. When the weather is warmer you can sit outside. They have picnic tables and lawn chairs.
Recommend the ribs, brisket, and Mac n cheese.
