“The best restaurant in Vail!“

“We saw other reviews of the artichokes that were unfavorable, however we tried them anyway… and we were soooooo glad that we did. They were grilled to perfection, super tender on the inside, and were delightfully seasoned. We saw negative review about “too much oil” on them — not sure what that person was smoking! They were drenched… in delicious melted lemon butter, and topped with sea salt and pepper. The red pepper aioli they came with was also fabulous.
We were between happy and ecstatic with everything we ordered. Definitely better value than many other restaurants in Lionshead Village.“

“Oh.My.Lord! Amazing!!! We went for dinner 12/5 while up at Vail. Charles, one of the managers, was thoughtful, checked to see how our experience was…it was second-to-none! The restaurant is beautiful, love the open kitchen, the staff—kind, informative, attentive. But the food! Next level!! The pork shank is the best pork I’ve ever had . . . wow! Charles told us the lengthy process it takes to make that, so delicious! The clam chowder was exceptional; they smoke the clams before putting in the chowder. That slight smoky flavor made this the best chowder I’ve ever tasted!
In summary, beautiful restaurant, great customer service and outstanding food!! Go!! You won’t be disappointed.“

“Leonora, located inside The Sebastian Vail boutique hotel, is a gem for anyone seeking exceptional service and delicious cuisine. The staff goes above and beyond to make every dining experience memorable, pairing their warm hospitality with attention to detail. A must-try on the menu is the avocado toast—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Leonora’s inviting ambiance, combined with its standout dishes, makes it a perfect spot for a memorable meal in Vail. Highly recommended!“

“The lunch specials or moderate not over price but very good. I had elk chili and a half a sandwich. It was excellent.“
“From a wedding photographer's perspective, you really can't beat the Larkspur wedding experience! Stunning mountain views all around, an incredibly beautiful and intimate reception space, and can host one heck of a party! We recently photographed a wedding in the fall at peak colors, and WOW! The whole valley was ablaze!“

“What a fabulous lunch. Patrick our waiter was knowledgeable, courteous attentive and cute! The food was great too. Carrot honey chicken sandwich best ever! Elk meatball sub was excellent. Fries in duck fat, there are no words. Topped off with a dark chocolate, baby guava tart…..what can I say. All Patrick’s suggestions…thank you.“
“It is expensive. It is worth every penny. The food is just amazing. It is a changing menu since it sourced by seasonal fare. Move from your taste comfort zone. You will not be disappointed. The food gets 5 stars by itself; however, the service makes it 6 stars. From the greeting at the gondola, to the snow cat ride up the rest of the way to the restaurant, to the coat check, all added positively to the experience. It simply wasn’t just dinner, but an experience. When you see the view, you’ll get it.“
“Located at the top of Gondola 19 in Lionshead, Eagle’s Nest has several eateries for skiers and riders. The food here is good, although expensive. Over the past two years, the menu options and quality have improved significantly. There is a good bar on the first floor, Bistro 14. This use to be a restaurant, but post-COVID, it is just a bar.“

“I was pretty disappointed this season with the limited options this time. The food is served apparently only some days.. then there's no wait staff I guess anymore, and as much as this place suppose to be bumpin' for any apres ski time they decide to close at 4pm or so.. blew my mind.. absolutely the most prime real estate .. the way its ran I guarantee they're hitting less than 50% of its potential revenue! [It's a very obvious observation] no entertainment just self order line. Please be better.. make Vail resorts $$ so ppl don't need to pay $300 day for skiing“

“A wonderful place to just be yourself! There are many great places in Vail, but many require some uncomfortable requests. At Bol all you need to be is yourself. Go to play and enjoy some of the best bites to be had as a pin junkie. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and vibrant. You want to stay and play...and eat and drink. The food is excellent, the lanes are top-notch, and the atmosphere says let your hair down and be yourself. Thank you to the GM, Josh who is wonderful and be sure to try the sliders and poke!“
“My mother and I came here for dinner last night. The wings were great. The butternut squash soup was disappointing. It had no flavor and came out lukewarm. The lamb chops were very good, and she enjoyed her salad. The salmon she ordered to be added to it came out on a separate plate whole, but it was well-prepared.“

“Awesome experience. The food was delicious, the place had lots of windows, so you could see the amazing show falling and a beautiful architecture while having a meal. Went the with wife and two daughters (3 and 13), we all love it. Service was fast and helpful. The food was not only really good, but it also looked fantastic.“

“I had one 5-star experience and one 2-star experience.
The 2-star experience was mostly awful service... We only got our first drinks around 2 mins before we were given the cheque. Food was delivered wrong. Only saw the server once until we complained after food was delivered.
5-star experience was amazing the server was the best I've had in years. Charismatic, helpful, attentive. Pizza with honey wasn't a good decision. But was great food for everyone else.“

“This place is at the top of Vail Mountain, and it's the perfect place to take a ski break and get a drink or a bite to eat. The food is cafeteria style, but it's tasty. Took 1 star off because it's so very expensive for what you're getting, but it is ON the mountain, so they know they have you by convenience.“

“We chose the Gessner Strakhouse because it was convenient considering we were staying at the Grand Hyatt in Vail. It was a wonderful surprise! Galo, our server was amazing. He made suggestions that were out of our meat and potatoes, comfort zone, but we tried them and they were delicious. He was very attentive to our needs. We sat outside overlooking the river to complement our delicious meal. It was memorable, for sure. “

“Sister restaurant to Mountain Standard downstairs, excellent service and food. Too busy eating to take pictures, but managed to get a video of their wonderful and creative dessert. Cocktails were unique and well balanced. We sat on the outdoor balcony and the ambiance was great.“
