Always love La Tour. Food predictable and tasty. Great ambiance. Food pricy but that's vail. I guess I could understand the 3% for using a credit card, but I didn't understand why they would charge you 3% for culinary, I thought that's why I went to a restaurant. Service was not up to par this visit. Good next visit will improve.
We wanted to love this special night out but, unfortunately, the service was not great. Our waiter was pretty good but the support from bussers, etc. was lacking. Our bread service was sent to another table, dinner plates sat stacked on the table even after dessert and as the bill was paid. The food was pretty good though and a decent value for Vail.

The food is outstanding and clearly made with great care, with some items like the escargot being better than those found traveling in France. The dinner options are equally impressive, with scallops and Black Cod receiving high praise. The wine list is one of the best, chosen for taste and quality rather than popularity or label, offering some excellent values. The service is exceptional, exceeding expectations and providing a level of attentiveness similar to a private club. The staff, including Michelle Hersen, are attentive and considerate, especially in accommodating special dietary needs like gluten-free options. While outdoor seating offers a lively ambiance, dining inside or away from the busy walkway is recommended for a quieter experience. Overall, La Tour is a favorite for special family dinners, with wonderful food and top-notch service.
