We arrived kind of early dinner time and the staff gave us a beautiful table and provided an excellent meal. My whole family of 5 really enjoyed the dinner there. If you want a special night for your family or special someone I highly recomment La Tour.

Are food was great! We had an amazing server named bob. He saw that me and my brother were young and nice so he gave us bread and drink service for free! Please do not take advantage of this amazing person!

A beautiful restaurant with a great (though pricey) kids menu. The regular menu is outrageously expensive and neither the taste nor portion size of the dishes is on par with the prices they command. I’ve never had a salmon in which the chef recommends medium - and yes, it was a tiny 3 ounces of very over cooked fish. Our waiter upsold our table constantly (“we recommend two bread baskets for a table thjs size”). We were 3 adults, 3 kids mind you. Meanwhile each basket is $9 for a small sampling of butter and crusted bread which should have been on the house. The worst part of our waiters service was when he blew the birthday surprise we had arranged with Peter, the maitre D, before we sat down. He clumsily announced to our entire table “I hear we have a birthday tonight who’s is it?” when we had specifically asked to put a candle in a cake for our friend. Lastly, we ordered a $60 bottle of red wine - unbeknownst to us, they were out of it - and replaced it with a $260 bottle of wine without letting us know until the check had arrived. We were so upset and though they did take it off the bill, I am deducting stars for really clumsy and embarassing service all around. Would not recommend.

I don't think this restaurant is as good as it was. We made a reservation 6 weeks in advance and our table was in a poor location. We are pretty regular customers when we visit Vail. They have bread service on the menu for nine dollars and it was a pretty lousy bread selection. Hardly worth the price. I ordered Duck Breast and it was pretty tough to cut. I didn't complain as I didn't want to spoil the evening for the others. We are not cheap diners we spent almost 900.00 dollars for five guests. There are plenty of good restaurants in Vail and I think we will give this one a pause.

The service was terrible. Glass cup broke and server did not fully clean up. Food took forever to come out. Ambiance was good. But the food was good.

Stopped for a bite after skiing. Manhatten steak, alaskan black cod and halibut were all excellent. Staff was extremely attentive.Would not hesitate to visit again.

Do not go here. This was our baby-less weekend and super excited to try a new spot. You will be very disappointed. The service was awful. And they stuck us in the back with a bad table. We asked for a manager and they were very unhelpful and didn’t listen to our feedback on the meal and service. We spent $238 for two entrees, app, and a bottle of wine. Money wasted. My husband said he was having a good time until “that dinner”. Save your money.

Portions are on the smaller side but food is tastefully prepared. Great options in the kids menu. Star off for the Seared Foie Gras which was basically ravioli with such a miniscule amount of Foie Gras that was hard to taste even.We also had the Black Cod, the Manhattan Steak and the Creme Brulee and they were all good.Generally ok but not great and not on par with the prices.

Was minimally okay at best. Bread $9 served cold. Scallop dish was definitely risotto sitting around for quite some time. I was going to order the halibut but was strongly suggested to order the cod(I like both). Cod was miso infused but told it was minimal. Was pretty heavy miso taste. Our experience was less than average. Extremely overrated and unfortunate.

Fabulous meal at La Tour over New Year's week. Food was delicious, great wine options and our waiter was charming and helpful.

This restaurant is seriously overrated - both as to food and atmosphere. There is very little interesting about the menu. The bar-b-que oyster dish was cold even though it was served on top of something that resembled a pu pu platter flaming centerpiece, which was neither flaming nor hot. The onion tart appetizer was mediocre at best and looked like a corner piece cut out of a rectangular pizza. It was served with a huge pile of arugula in vinaigrette that dwarfed the "tart". The bread service, which was a la carte at $9, was cold. The scallop appetizer special, which they didn't charge us for, had one scallop that was sandy and tasted of bleach and was served over a risotto that tasted like a boxed rice mix from the grocery store. My husband's cod entree, which the waiter strongly recommended multiple times over my husband's desired order of halibut, was more like cod marinated in grocery store teriyaki than what you would expect for a $60 entree. Save your money and cook dinner yourself.

Ok Food is sometimes overcome by great service, this is not the case. Bringing the wrong food then trying to push you in to take it, then get mad and leave you unattended. People with food allergies beware, they don’t know what they are serving but more important they don’t care.
