One of the best places in Vail for live music. Phil is ALWAYS entertaining, the staff is friendly, food is great and the drinks are generous.
Best cocktails in Vail!!!
We were able to sit outside with the beautiful view of the mountain on Labor Day weekend! The food was outstanding. We had the NY strip and the Chilean Sea Bass which were delicious and good size portions. The drinks were also a great addition to our experience. The Lychee Martini was just right! I will be back again!!

Vail Chophouse is a popular place to enjoy a delicious meal right off the slopes. Despite being a bit slow during shift change, the service is attentive and friendly. The menu features great dishes like the French dip sandwich, lobster Mac and cheese with lots of lobster, crispy chicken, and salmon. The patio seating offers amazing views, and the outside dining experience is delightful. The restaurant provides a kids menu and has gluten-free options, making it suitable for families and those with dietary restrictions. The atmosphere is lively, with live entertainment sometimes, and views of skiers and fireworks. The bar has a great vibe with lots of TVs. The steaks are great, and the mashed potatoes are tasty. The lamb chops and wedge salad with salmon are also very good. However, the wedge salad can be disappointing with very little on it, and the bread is just a loaf of barely warm, uninteresting bread, costing $11. The restaurant offers a good dining experience with excellent food and beautiful scenery, though service can sometimes feel rushed. Prices are reasonable for a high-end Vail eatery, especially given its prime location near the gondola.
