Lancelot Restaurant Reviews
prime rib was great and it's close to hotel room
The food was delicious! Our server was friendly and perfectly paced. It was one of the best meals I have ever had.

Lancelot Restaurant offers a pleasant surprise, located in a glass structure with a cozy castle feel. The diverse menu features generous portions and consistently good food, with the prime rib being a standout. Customers have been extremely pleased with their meals, finding the dishes to be excellent comfort food prepared with fresh ingredients. The Beet Salad with red vinaigrette is noted for retaining the flavor of arugula and beets, while main courses like Prime Rib of Beef and Colorado Trout are cooked to slow perfection. The apple strudel for dessert is authentic and delicious. Service is generally great and attentive, though one reviewer noted their waiter was juggling too many tables. Lancelot Restaurant is considered a Vail institution and is a must-visit during a Vail stay, with many looking forward to returning. Reviewers praise the personable service, the restaurant's 50-year history, and the exceptional quality of dishes like the Tuna sashimi, shrimp screeds, clam chowder, and Trout almondine. The homemade apple strudel is a consistent crowd-pleaser, and the restaurant's casual atmosphere makes it a great choice for a nice dinner in Vail.
