We had a 645 reservation and didn't realize it was Mardi gras. They had a live band and a rowdy crowd. We would have just gone somewhere else because you couldn't even hear each other talk but they said the band would finish at 7 not to worry. Our fault for not just leaving. Band played until almost 8, our whole dinner, so we couldn't speak at all. Food was fine but not greet service was average. Water glasses never refilled unless we asked. Wait staff are amazing but the kitchen is a waste of oxygen. Bar is amazing. Idk what's going on with the kitchen, but it will be fixed before I return. Food is always less than mediocre. Only place in vail I've found a continous problem with the food. Not the quality of ingredients, but they way in which it's prepared is always disappointing. My mother and I came here for dinner last night. The wings were great. The butternut squash soup was disappointing. It had no flavor and came out lukewarm. The lamb chops were very good, and she enjoyed her salad. The salmon she ordered to be added to it came out on a separate plate whole, but it was well-prepared.
