“I came to the Fireside Grill as part of package deal through the Nordic Center to go snowshoeing for several hours before capping the day off with a generous plate of wine and cheese AND dessert! The food was delicious and Lizzie took phenomenal care of me as I enjoyed my meal. Her kindness and attentiveness was much appreciated. I highly recommend this experience through the Nordic Center as well as the Fireside Grill for its excellent food and lovely staff.“

“Had one of the best breakfasts ever. Hikers omelette with turkey sausage, on the patio with a great view of the mountain. Everything is just breathtaking, and the service was outstanding. Kathleen took care of us like we were old friends visiting, what a beautiful person. Breakfast doesn't get much better that this.“

“Been to this nice restaurant many times and it’s always first class. Tonight my wife’s chicken was excellent. The wine was great. However, the Manhattan steak was not so good. The one that was brought out was extremely tough and even hard to cut into. Our lovely server offered to bring out a new one but I said I would fight through it. To her credit, she insisted on bringing out a new one and I asked for it to be Medallion cut. The replacement came out and should have been medium rare, but when I laid out the cuts it was simply very rare to raw with lots of fat as well. I simply refused to eat it and told her to just take it off the bill. To my surprise the wonderful Manager Dana immediately came over and admitted that they failed on the steak. He explained that they usually get great cuts from the provider, but recently not so much and he actually called the owner and told him they simply can’t be offering this kind of steak as this was not the first bad cut he has seen this evening. Dana did not charge me for the steak as well as the wine and offered a free desert. Dana did exactly what I’d expect a Manager to do in this caliber of a restaurant and that alone makes me want to come back again whichever we will do so!“

“I live in Avon and Northside is one of my go to places. They have a fantastic happy hour with Kat at the bar. Not only does she pour a great cocktail, bit is attentive and on the ball. She knows how to keep her customers happy. They should be thrilled to have her. The drinks are prefect and the food yummy. Better than most over the top expensive places in downtown Vail.“

“Excellent meal at Juniper last night. Scallop appetizer was excellent as was the Halibut. Had a glass of California bubbly that was as good as most champagnes I've had. Nice wine list but only had a glass as I was solo. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and friendly. They have a nice patio out front but not quite patio weather. Will be back next time through Edwards!“

“On the receipt it said our server was Raul. He was awesome and made an iced espresso that my girlfriend thought was much better than Starbucks. The coffee creation was on the house… even the second one. The breakfast was very good and priced fairly. Because of it all, left a little over 50% tip and happy. Well done.“

I really hope to get a chance to sample more of their menu in future.“

“Had the chocolate malted. Ask for a side shot to make it Boozy. Garlic buffalo and Jamaican Jerk medium hot were jus enough to wake up your mouth without drawing tears and sniffles. The cheese fries with house made queso will definitely bring us back!!! Great service.“

“Valet parking was free just despite us just passing town. We were sat immediately, the service was immaculate, the menu was diverse and innovative. The food, despite being in a restaurant attached to a garage filled with Audis and Porsches, was extremely well priced and the best burger I've had in years.

“We were fortunate enough to have our rehearsal dinner and welcome party here and it was truly unforgettable. The communication leading up to and the day of the event was fantastic. Everybody loved the food and drinks and we even managed to line dance in the bar area. They accommodated our live musician without a hitch and everybody had such a blast. Can't recommend it enough“

“Update...we've dined at Gessner's dozens of times during our visits to the Grand Hyatt Vail. This is the main restaurant on property, they serve breakfast, apres, and dinner. We've mostly had breakfast and apres here over the years but all in all this is a great restaurant located within the hotel. The food is always solid and I think the service has gotten better throughout the years we have been visiting this establishment....

The food is outstanding at Gessner's. The restaurant is located in the Grand Hyatt, the restaurant and hotel are both stunningly beautiful. We like dining out in the lobby area after a long day of skiing, highly recommend!“

“Had an amazing meal at Deca Bol sitting on the patio on a lovely summer evening. We had the Fungi Flatbread which was very flavorful with a contrast of salty and sweet with big chunks of mushrooms. The seared salmon with quinoa was outstanding. The flavor was unique and flavorful. My friend had the fish tacos with corn salsa which were delicious. The fish was pan seared and so we avoided the deep fry you sometimes find with fish tacos. The manager was welcoming and gracious.“

“The food at this wine dinner was decent (and the food at Harvest is generally very good) with two caveats last night (1) the risotto course was barely warm by the time that our table got it, and (2) the steak was very well done and a bit dry. The issue at this dinner is that is was clearly not planned very well. We got there 5 minutes before the scheduled start time and the wait staff still hadn't figured out where people were to be seated. The golf demonstration by a former PGA star was amazing! But when that was over, they told us that we were being seated outside without even asking us our preference - an issue in CO summers depending on the day. When we sat down at our table outside, the glass of wine that was waiting for us was very warm as well was the salad plate (and clearly had been sitting there for a while awaiting the golf demo. Tt was very windy so we asked to be seated inside, and the staff did move our food and wine to the new table. We didn't see the regular manager present and wondered if we just missed him or he wasn't there. Nevertheless the wait staff worked very hard and were very friendly. At the end of the dinner, the sponsor (and what would have been the missing manager) did not eve bother to thank the wait staff or the kitchen staff as they usually do at these wine dinners. And finally, there was no dessert course (which everyone was commenting on at the tables.).“

“We had the most amazing meal at Revel! The salmon with creamy leeks and Chardonnay braised turnips was spectacular—the subtle flavors were perfectly balanced with the leeks providing just the right amount of tang so it didn’t feel too rich. The braised beef was like butter; the savory vegetables it was braised in overnight gave a depth of flavor I’ve never tasted in beef before. The chocolate mousse for dessert…heavenly! The richness of the Belgian chocolate and vanilla bean cream had me moaning out loud.

The salmon is flown in from Norway and the beef is raised locally. I think this goes to show that if you start with fresh, pure ingredients and put them in the hands of a talented chef you can make the simplest of foods taste exceptional.

I just ate at a James Beard award winning restaurant last month and I can honestly say it was no comparison to our meal at Revel! I can’t wait to go back!“

“Was a little tired from skiing all day and needed a little caffeine boost to prepare for the evening ahead. The place was a little busy but the wait was not bad at all. I enjoyed an Iced Nutty Irishman. I asked them to dial back the syrup and it was great. The coffee they use is great and a little less flavoring helped the coffee flavor pop. Service was excellent. There was a guy working the counter alone and he did a great job of tending to everyone’s needs. I did not have food there but a couple customers were returning because they enjoyed the food the day before. They also serve beer in addition to coffee and other drinks. Inside seating is available with tables and a small bar area. There is also a really nice outdoor sitting area where you can do some people watching.“
