“Hubby and I had dinner at Golden Eagle Inn again during our ski trip this year in early March. Nothing fancy at this joint but food is decent, plus good and fast service. We ordered the Baked Brie for appetizer. Hubby had the Grilled Shrimp & Wild Mushroom Risotto which was very tasty and my Gnocchi of Sweet Potato was delicious. This is definitely a solid spot to dine in when visiting. With that said, we will be back next season!“
“I was here for breakfast on three different days, and it is a quality breakfast. The Colorado Breakfast, Breakfast Burrito, and Country Fried Steak are great choices for breakfast, and the menu has a fair amount of options as well. However, the dinner is a little bit limited in terms of options. We started with the lamb meatballs, which was a decent appetizer. I also had the trout, which was definitely good, but I was expecting a little more taste wise with seasonings. The toffee ice cream ginger bread or whatever it was called was definitely the highlight of the dinner. It was one of the more interesting dessert items I have had. The dinner overall was still good, but the breakfast was definitely the better food at this restaurant.“
“I came to the Fireside Grill as part of package deal through the Nordic Center to go snowshoeing for several hours before capping the day off with a generous plate of wine and cheese AND dessert! The food was delicious and Lizzie took phenomenal care of me as I enjoyed my meal. Her kindness and attentiveness was much appreciated. I highly recommend this experience through the Nordic Center as well as the Fireside Grill for its excellent food and lovely staff.“
“Absolutely beautiful views. We took the centennial gondola up, which was absolutely worth it. I wouldn’t pay for the lunch again. It was fine, but overpriced and there’s better stuff at the bottom. The pulled pork sandwich was just ok. Great place to hangout and have an expensive beer while the kids play lawn games. Great hikes on the mountain too.“
“We were at a Beaver Creek conference and had a private happy hour for about 50 people at The Met. It was a great experience! The food selection was varied and each appetizer/dish was not only delicious, but was presented nicely-great chef! Edgar, the manager, was very personable and accommodating. The servers and staff were all very helpful and attentive. I would definitely recommend dining at The Met Kitchen!“
“Mc Coy's could deliver the crappiest food and worst service and it wouldnt matter beause the front row seating to the slopes compensates in the end.. BUT i'm happy to report that's not the case.. the service was friendly and welcoming and the food was pretty tasty. I stuck with the grill- the cheeseburgers are huge and the polish sausages hit the spot. Live music was also a perk. Good stuff Mc Coy's! Thanks for the great times.“
“Been to this nice restaurant many times and it’s always first class. Tonight my wife’s chicken was excellent. The wine was great. However, the Manhattan steak was not so good. The one that was brought out was extremely tough and even hard to cut into. Our lovely server offered to bring out a new one but I said I would fight through it. To her credit, she insisted on bringing out a new one and I asked for it to be Medallion cut. The replacement came out and should have been medium rare, but when I laid out the cuts it was simply very rare to raw with lots of fat as well. I simply refused to eat it and told her to just take it off the bill. To my surprise the wonderful Manager Dana immediately came over and admitted that they failed on the steak. He explained that they usually get great cuts from the provider, but recently not so much and he actually called the owner and told him they simply can’t be offering this kind of steak as this was not the first bad cut he has seen this evening. Dana did not charge me for the steak as well as the wine and offered a free desert. Dana did exactly what I’d expect a Manager to do in this caliber of a restaurant and that alone makes me want to come back again whichever we will do so!“
“From the moment we entered, the staff was friendly and accommodating. We didn’t have reservations for dinner anywhere this evening and they were happy to squeeze us in. Famished from our active day and long search for a restaurant with availability, we were ready to get down to business. They had a few interesting options on their appetizer menu. We decided on the egg rolls and a couple of signature cocktails, which all came out pretty quick compared to the amount of time and care that was probably put into each. We had a hard time choosing entrees as we love pasta, cheese, and meat (who doesn’t??) but finally settled on the gnocchi and bolognese. Both great! So great that instead of stuffing ourselves of the large portion, we tried to stop so that we would have a meal-sized portion for leftovers. Keyword: tried. It was hard to stop eating! We managed to salvage some to enjoy later and our wonderful server Eliana (sp?) packed it up for us. Throughout the meal, our server came by, to check in and never let our water glasses come close to empty. They had some yummy donuts on display near the entrance. We commented on how adorable they were. The staff was quick to offer a few to us at no charge which was really nice. Sadly, we were just too full from our meal to accept. We didn’t partake this time, but we did see a number of people seemingly come in just to browse the wine and grab a bottle to take home. They had a pretty good selection. From the exceptional service to the decadent pasta dishes, we’re coming back for sure. How this place isn’t packed to the gills on a Saturday night, I have no idea! Keep up the good work, keep doing what you’re doing!“
“Cool little place with delicious cocktails and food."wine-bar" isn't accurate, only had cocktails and they were all great. Food was simple but elevated and extremely well done. Would 1000% recommend this place and will be back.“
“From the moment you walk into the restaurant it is in a chalet. It is absolutely magnificent. The bread was so fresh and they had a honey butter that was delicious. We had Hamachi and octopus appetizer. Both were absolutely fabulous for the main course. It was a decision between the Dover soul, or the halibut. You can't go wrong with either from the atmosphere to the service to the company I was with it's a five star, definitely our favorite restaurant in Beaver Creek. If you only have one night to eat there, I would highly recommend this restaurant as your first choice You only have one night to Eden Beaver Creek this is a must“
