“Had one of the best breakfasts ever. Hikers omelette with turkey sausage, on the patio with a great view of the mountain. Everything is just breathtaking, and the service was outstanding. Kathleen took care of us like we were old friends visiting, what a beautiful person. Breakfast doesn't get much better that this.“

“Been to this nice restaurant many times and it’s always first class. Tonight my wife’s chicken was excellent. The wine was great. However, the Manhattan steak was not so good. The one that was brought out was extremely tough and even hard to cut into. Our lovely server offered to bring out a new one but I said I would fight through it. To her credit, she insisted on bringing out a new one and I asked for it to be Medallion cut. The replacement came out and should have been medium rare, but when I laid out the cuts it was simply very rare to raw with lots of fat as well. I simply refused to eat it and told her to just take it off the bill. To my surprise the wonderful Manager Dana immediately came over and admitted that they failed on the steak. He explained that they usually get great cuts from the provider, but recently not so much and he actually called the owner and told him they simply can’t be offering this kind of steak as this was not the first bad cut he has seen this evening. Dana did not charge me for the steak as well as the wine and offered a free desert. Dana did exactly what I’d expect a Manager to do in this caliber of a restaurant and that alone makes me want to come back again whichever we will do so!“

“I live in Avon and Northside is one of my go to places. They have a fantastic happy hour with Kat at the bar. Not only does she pour a great cocktail, bit is attentive and on the ball. She knows how to keep her customers happy. They should be thrilled to have her. The drinks are prefect and the food yummy. Better than most over the top expensive places in downtown Vail.“

“We had a great experience at Mirabelle. We had a last minute, early reservation and it was perfect. Service was excellent; the lamb was delicious and the diver sole was a large portion and also delicious. Would definitely go back to enjoy another meal there.“

“This place has good food for the price. I had thought there would be more table service, but it ended up being more “order at the counter and listen for your name” type of place. I tend to tip a bit less at these places because they do far less work/service, but the food was still good. We enjoyed our time but would have liked more service for the price.“

“The quality of their food is not good, it's very bad.“

“The food at this wine dinner was decent (and the food at Harvest is generally very good) with two caveats last night (1) the risotto course was barely warm by the time that our table got it, and (2) the steak was very well done and a bit dry. The issue at this dinner is that is was clearly not planned very well. We got there 5 minutes before the scheduled start time and the wait staff still hadn't figured out where people were to be seated. The golf demonstration by a former PGA star was amazing! But when that was over, they told us that we were being seated outside without even asking us our preference - an issue in CO summers depending on the day. When we sat down at our table outside, the glass of wine that was waiting for us was very warm as well was the salad plate (and clearly had been sitting there for a while awaiting the golf demo. Tt was very windy so we asked to be seated inside, and the staff did move our food and wine to the new table. We didn't see the regular manager present and wondered if we just missed him or he wasn't there. Nevertheless the wait staff worked very hard and were very friendly. At the end of the dinner, the sponsor (and what would have been the missing manager) did not eve bother to thank the wait staff or the kitchen staff as they usually do at these wine dinners. And finally, there was no dessert course (which everyone was commenting on at the tables.).“

“This was our first visit to Mountain Standard and we all loved it. The food was excellent and the service was too. I had the Angus Beef, my husband has the Pork Shank and my son had the Mahi Mahi. Everyone shared and we all thought it our best meal in Vail this week! We loved it so much we went back for lunch the next day and that was excellent too! “Update...we've dined at Gessner's dozens of times during our visits to the Grand Hyatt Vail. This is the main restaurant on property, they serve breakfast, apres, and dinner. We've mostly had breakfast and apres here over the years but all in all this is a great restaurant located within the hotel. The food is always solid and I think the service has gotten better throughout the years we have been visiting this establishment....

The food is outstanding at Gessner's. The restaurant is located in the Grand Hyatt, the restaurant and hotel are both stunningly beautiful. We like dining out in the lobby area after a long day of skiing, highly recommend!“

“Many people booked outside seating as did we and then the rain started and everyone requested inside. The wait staff, hostess and every other employee hustled to get everyone seated in a short time. They did an amazing job. Food was tasty, limited selection but solid on flavor. Our server was wonderful. Tavern on the Square is always on our list for dining during our annual summer visits.“
