“First time here at 6th Alley Bar & Grill, and it was a great experience. The place was packed when we arrived, but we were greeted by Kaitlyn, who was incredibly busy yet still so professional and friendly. She was running the host stand, clearing tables nonstop, and somehow still greeting everyone with a smile. You could tell she was busting her ass, and it really showed how much she cares.

We only waited about 15 minutes, which honestly was impressive given how busy it was. Our server Ashley greeted us promptly and was absolutely amazing. We let her know we weren’t in a rush, and she made the entire experience relaxed and enjoyable. She kept our drinks full, gave great food and drink recommendations, and was attentive the whole time — all while clearly handling a busy section.

The barbacoa quesadilla and wings were beyond amazing — seriously don’t skip the cherry habanero sauce. 🔥

“We stopped in for lunch after hiking. My family and I are visiting the area from Arkansas. This place is super tasty, clean, and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is just fun. Please make this a stop if you’re in the area! I didn’t get his name, but the cashier with lock piercings in his ears was a treat. We loved him. Thanks for great service! “My husband and I have been great fans of The Dam since it opened. We lived in Summit County in 1995 and have always gone to The Dam for great beer and lovely people who worked there. Today, January 3, 2024, was yet another day to stop by The Dam (although we live in Buena Vista, CO since 2001), but always plan on coming up for what we enjoy. AND, one of the new people that works with The Dam is JEN. When we met her, it was perfect. She's very lovely to talk to, to laugh, listen to what's new on the menu, and we just enjoy her. Also, the people that have worked at The Dam since the beginning always were 'the best'. Whether making the beer (perfect every time), the food, or running departments..............we truly love it.
