“At the base of the River Run gondola, this building has an incredible ski chalet atmosphere attached to it. They have welcoming staff, a beautifully designed menu, and plenty of options for all sorts of cravings after a day of tremendous physical activity. Their reservation system was extremely convenient as the place was filled to the brim with ski-enthusiasts and adventurous mountain-lovers alike. Other than the restaurant exceeding it’s capacity (which made sense given it was a weekend), there are no poor things to say about this quaint Keystone tavern. The Southwest salad was exquisitely plated and the freshness of the delectable, crisp ingredients was absolutely divine! So glad we chose to stop by during our ski trip - I highly recommend!“
“Seems to be the only fine dining in town, yet they uphold the standard well. The food was quite excellent. Very fresh oysters, excellent meats, and their signature souffle shouldn't be missed. Very accommodating for kids. All of that said, it doesn't look quite like the online photos inside, at least not in the room we were in. It's rustic and cozy but more representative of the fact that it's a golf club restaurant not a ski lodge. Be sure to remind them to credit your $50 reservation deposit back if applicable. Plenty of parking. We will definitely be back anytime we're in Keystone. Also there's a large bar area too. And nice views of the flat course, I assume (everything was covered in feet of snow on our visit in late March.)“
“One of the more expensive restaurants in River Run. That said, they have everything from a Hamburger to venison. Husband got the venison and said it was very good. The spare rib stroganoff was very good. The wine menu is decent. I believe the restaurants in this area all have the same kids menu. Decent desert menu as well. Service was a little slow when we were there but they were busy and the place is huge!“
“Nice little local place with order at the counter and cozy seating. Menu is small. Some breakfast options and panini’s. Had the French toast. It was fine. Husband had a sandwich. He said it was good. They do have a kids menu. Get the hot chocolate. Comes with whipped cream and an Oreo!“
“First timers.Didn't make reservations. (Oops) So, no way we were sitting on the fancy side. Looked really nice through: truly. But we easily found space at the saloon bar. More our style anyway. It looked like, sounded like, and "felt" like a proper saloon, and, was being attended to by friendly, smart, quick moving bar tenders! Had a nice evening. Thank you Snake river saloon!“
“Beautiful spot to stop while skiing the slopes at Keystone. Mountain vistas, clean air, happy people. They were severely understaffed, so the wait was long for food and the garbage was a bit out of control. I am sure it would not be the case with a full staff. Even with that, I very much recommend you stop in. Food was pretty tasty and the atmosphere fantastic.“
“Absolutely love this place. Easy access and we enjoyed the food we ate here both times we visited. The buffalo wings and blue cheese are some of the best I've had. They are big and not breaded which are big pluses. The burgers are also very good. We really enjoyed the onion rings as well as the green chile smothered fries.Best of all, you cannot beat the price. It rivals anything you'd find in Keystone River Run area.“
