“The Irish coffees are strong and the food is fresh! Go for the chicken and waffles or the Colorado Bennie and you will lick the plate! Bonus is that they take reservations (but don’t require them) and have room for large parties. Super cool booths with high backs gives lots of privacy. Full bar.“
“Found this place on Google while passing through from Winter Park to Denver. Needed breakfast and decided to try it. Customer service was great, friendly and offered suggestions on what to eat and things to do in the area. I ordered sweet tea with 2 pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. The 2 pancakes were huge. It was all really food.“
“I was dying for a turkey sandwich and they had gluten free bread, best day ever! It was delicious and its a cool spot, there's notes on the walls written on napkins and receipts. The people who worked there were happy and kind. Perfect spot to eat before going up higher in the mountains“
“No actual buffalo at the Buffalo Bar, FYI. They took the Buffalo Burger off the menu, which was the only reason I used to go there. Other than that, in my recent visit (Mar'23) the food and service were fine, except the seating/hostess stand process was oddly overcomplicated and lengthy, even without a line.“
“Stopped here for a bite following a day up in the mountains. We appreciated that they offered smaller pours of their brews in addition to the recs for their sandwiches. I had the fried tofu sandwich and it had lots of flavor. Definitely would come back for the fries!“
“Good food and beer. Never been disappointed. Place has some history to it. It's worth to check out when you are in Idaho Springs. Flights of beer are really good. Ive been here a few times and it's better that Bou Joes down the street. If passing through Idaho Springs going west to the mountains or coming east to Denver... I suggest you make a stop! You won't regret it. Good luck!!“
“What appeared to be an utterly unassuming diner was actually a diamond in the rough. The staff, upon entry, were unendingly friendly, with a very clean mountain aesthetic. Then, dear Goodness, the food arrived.Hands down, the absolute best green and red chili we've had since moving out west, absolutely unparalleled. And the burger! Oh goodness, the best burgers we've had in 20+ years. If you're passing by here, STOP AND EAT. If you don't, you're missing out on some of the best food in Colorado, hands freaking down.We are bookmarking this as an out of the way place to return to regularly. I hope I can request large batches of the chili to-go!“
“We travel all over and LOVED the bartenders and the food! Danny and tristian were friendly, funny and so down to earth. Now the food, WOWZA! had the a5 and it was like butter and the lamb shank was equally amazing! We will be back to this gem!! Highly recommend“
“Just did a morning advanced rafting trip with Christian as our guide and Colin as our safety kayak. We had a blast! They both gave us a lot of instructions and evidently they did a great job because we survived! The trip was so much more of a thrill than I had anticipated! Thanks guys for a memorable experience!“
“This step back into time was glorious. Millie’s is old-school to say the least. Take a walk up to the spacious second floor and enjoy a delicious, well-priced meal. The breakfast burrito smothered in green chilis was perfect in every way. It’s a quiet place with what looks like a lot of locals, but we were taken care of by some veteran servers. A must in Central City!“
“PENN is a publicly traded gaming company that owns casinos across America. Located upstairs of Ameristar with Duomo style roof. In church, you pray for free, here you pray for parlays. Barstool is a subsidiary under PENN and it allows online app betting in 10 states. Be sure to bring some rent money and put it all on Jokic #NuggLife or 1-800-GAMBLER“
“Cool place with an old time atmosphere. I didn't do much here, just had a drink and left, but the bartender was someone who had lived in the city for a while and was interesting to talk to. There is a casino and games, with food and full bar.“
“Where do I begin? The professional attitude and appearance of my hostess, LeeAnn, is exactly what I look for when I dine out. I ordered the Breakfast burrito and I must say that the Gilpin is definitely underselling this bad boy! What I got was exactly what was described on the menu, but at least double! The sausage had a smoked quality that isn't normally found in Breakfast sausage you get In BlackHawk, the potatoes were fried to perfection and still maintained that "crunch" in burrito form, the eggs were light and fluffy, and the famous green chili is not too aggressive in fact there's just the right bite to remind you that you're in Colorado and this is how we get down! I, Charmichael Benjermaine Charmichael, can attest that Lucille Malones serves the best, for the price and quality, Breakfast burrito in all of Colorado! Hell yeah!Charmichael B. “We had some time to kill on the way back to the airport from the ski areas so we decided to stop in Idaho Springs to walk around. We stumbled across Main Street Restaurant and I’m so glad we decided to stop. They offer a full menu (breakfast, lunch, dinner) all day. I can honestly say I had the best omelet I’ve ever eaten! It was the corned beef omelet with rye toast snd grits. Everything was perfect. You can’t go wrong here. I highly recommend it!“
