Fantastic breakfast! We stayed in Idaho Springs to acclimate for a night prior to heading up to Keystone and this restaurant was recommended to us. It did not disappoint. From the minute we walked in the door, it was a great experience. The server was welcoming and knowledgeable. He was taking care of everyone coming in and did so with grace, ease and kindness. Visiting colorado and needed a breakfast spot that was better than hotel or casino food. Wow, did we luck out with this place! They were so friendly and the atmosphere was so cool. Like every shop on main street in Idaho Springs, this place had character. The menu was massive and pretty much everything is made fresh on site. We had some time to kill on the way back to the airport from the ski areas so we decided to stop in Idaho Springs to walk around. We stumbled across Main Street Restaurant and I’m so glad we decided to stop. They offer a full menu (breakfast, lunch, dinner) all day. I can honestly say I had the best omelet I’ve ever eaten! It was the corned beef omelet with rye toast snd grits. Everything was perfect.You can’t go wrong here. I highly recommend it!
