We had some time to kill on the way back to the airport from the ski areas so we decided to stop in Idaho Springs to walk around. We stumbled across Main Street Restaurant and I’m so glad we decided to stop. They offer a full menu (breakfast, lunch, dinner) all day. I can honestly say I had the best omelet I’ve ever eaten! It was the corned beef omelet with rye toast snd grits. Everything was perfect. You can’t go wrong here. I highly recommend it!

I'm not sure how old the pancake was, but it tasted like it was 2 days old just sitting on a counter somewhere and instead of throwing it out yesterday, they served it to me. Everything was luke warm and tasted like it sat out for too long. Don't let the good looking food pics or ratings fool you. It's expensive big portions of old food that will havr you running to the restroom after eating it. oddly the coffee tasted good.

Fantastic breakfast! We stayed in Idaho Springs to acclimate for a night prior to heading up to Keystone and this restaurant was recommended to us. It did not disappoint. From the minute we walked in the door, it was a great experience. The server was welcoming and knowledgeable. He was taking care of everyone coming in and did so with grace, ease and kindness. Those ordering food to go were offered a seat and either water or coffee while they waited. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. Highlights were the thick but bacon and the homemade bread. Next time we are in Idaho Springs, we will be stopping again!

Visiting colorado and needed a breakfast spot that was better than hotel or casino food. Wow, did we luck out with this place! They were so friendly and the atmosphere was so cool. Like every shop on main street in Idaho Springs, this place had character. The menu was massive and pretty much everything is made fresh on site. Teenage son had a hubcap pancake and didn't finish half of it. A friend had the eggs benedict flight and loved each one. One person had a fried breakfast burrito that was like a chimichanga and saif it was awesome. I had blueberry pancakes and eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and a biscuit. Other than the eggs benedict flight, mo one was able to finish their order, the servings were massive and everything was delicious. If driving through Idaho Springs, make the stop, breakfast is all day and they also have a lunch menu but they close in the afternoon I believe. Worth the trip from black hawk for sure!
Outstanding. Huge pancakes, great eggs Benedicts, skillet scramble was pretty decent with the pork belly. Would definitely come again! Staff was quick, very friendly, and on top of it. Would definitely come again. The wife liked their jalopeno grits.

Amazing breakfast spot. The homemade bread is worth the visit alone, but we also loved the bloody Mary’s, mimosas, skillets (with green chili) and omelets. The bacon is out of this world.
