“This place was delightful! A small menu but the selection overall was amazing! My partner ordered a burger and it had a great taste, perfect fries, according to my partner They said the beer was amazing, had to buy a six pack to go!! I got the club and wow, one of the best sandwiches! They cook the bacon amazing, not burnt but not floppy, just perfect. They even sell treats upfront which i love. 10/10 would reccomend this place.“

“Please don’t let the negative reviews discourage you, our experience was completely different, and the food was absolutely delicious!

As a vegetarian, finding genuinely good food while traveling can sometimes be a struggle. After arriving in Aspen, we tried a few local options and unfortunately ended up spending quite a bit of money only to leave disappointed and still hungry. I started searching for vegetarian food nearby and was pleasantly surprised to find an Indian restaurant within driving distance.

We initially ordered carryout simply because it was close to our hotel. The food was SO good that it quickly became our go-to during our stay! We ended up ordering from here multiple times instead of continuing to experiment with other restaurants.

My absolute favorites were the Aloo Paratha, Paneer Makhani, Paneer Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Samosas, and Mango Lassi. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and incredibly satisfying.

We chose carryout each time because after a long day of exploring, we loved changing into comfortable clothes and enjoying a delicious Indian meal back at the hotel. Every single order was ready on time and, most importantly, piping hot and fresh. You could genuinely taste that the dishes had been freshly prepared rather than simply assembled from something sitting around.

If you’re vegetarian and visiting the area—or simply craving flavorful, comforting Indian food. I would absolutely recommend giving this place a try. It ended up being one of our favorite food discoveries of the entire trip, and we were so glad we found it!“

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food where the locals actually eat, put Taqueria El Nopal on your list.

This is definitely off the tourist path, and when we walked in on a Tuesday, the restaurant was filled with locals, always a good sign. It's tucked into a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. Inside, it's colorful, casual, and full of character, with beautiful original artwork painted on the benches and tables.

You order at the counter, and we happened to visit on Tuesday, when fajitas were the special. The portion was generous, and they were absolutely delicious. My daughter had the quesadillas, my son ordered the steak platter, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and very well prepared.

The only thing I wasn't particularly impressed with was the salsa bar. But honestly, that was a small downside compared with how good everything else was.

This is exactly the kind of unassuming, hole-in-the-wall local restaurant I love discovering, authentic food, lots of personality, generous portions, and a place where the community actually goes to eat.

If you're visiting Glenwood Springs, skip some of the touristy spots and make a stop at Taqueria El Nopal.

Definitely worth seeking out! It's on the pricy side because for the three of us with no alcohol it was $90.“

Disappointed that the seafood menu items had been removed from the dinner menu selections. My mother selected the only poultry dish, Herb Roasted Chicken. The presentation looked well desired, her first n only bite was enough to gagged! Once we saw our waitress walked away with another herb roasted chicken dish towards the kitchen it truly confirmed that the chicken was indeed old, tough and no favor.
