“We love this restaurant. It's tiny, busy, and always serves great tacos and hot dogs ?. Fast service for the amount of business. They also have the luxury of the downtown Glenwood Springs p7cnic area. It's a lot of fun.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“Great local bar! Went for Wednesday night karaoke and what a blast! DJ’s are a lot of fun , bartenders even more and the whole place is just a great feel. They have two pool tables and events regularly!Parking: Street parking directly in front of bar.“
“Husband and I split the Harvest salad and the beef stroganoff. He had one of the house IPAs and loved it. The salad was rich with blue cheese, had a lot of fruit and the candied pecans and a very tasty dressing. The stroganoff was super tasty without being cloyingly rich, and the beef chunks were tender and plentiful. The asparagus was kind of tough... And in my opinion could have been left out, but the tough ones were very easy to eat around.“
“Don’t know much about the community, but the golf course is beautiful, very challenging, & one I’m so glad I got to play! I will warn golfers out there that walking this course is probably not advised as the exertion of the layout & setting (lots of elevation changes, long paths between some of the holes or even sections of the course, etc.) will likely adversely impact your swing & accuracy over the course of beginning to end!“
“Recommended by a local friend, I tried the Japanese curry with chicken katsu, and it's delightful. However, I wish they provided more curry instead of just having chicken topped with curry sauce. Overall, it's awesome; the chef and the lady server are both pleasant. I'll certainly come back!“
“The environment is incredible, it feels like a trip back in time. The service is ok, nothing special. We ordered a penne bolognese that looked like an industrialized tomato sauce with cream. It was delicious, but from a distance it looked like a delicious Italian Bolognese sauce. The orange juice was industrialized and by far the best... they need to improve!! There are good industrialized juices that are closer to the flavor of natural ones.Avalanche beer is wonderful!!!“
“We were pleased to see this location was still open and thriving since our last visit there some 8 years ago. Outstanding real Mexican food and friendly staff. Order at counter and sit down in lovely dining area. You know it's authentic when you are the only tourists in the restaurant. Just note there is a charge to use a credit card.“
“We had an early lunch today. We were seated quickly and our waitress was friendly and accommodating. We have been before and have always enjoyed our food. I had the Three for Me and the food was fresh and delicious. We will return the next time we're in Glenwood Springs.“
“Diverse menu, veggie options, tasty food, friendly staff. Three kinds of soup available. Posole tasted authentic and came with all the trimmings. Very comfortable dining area, music is not loud. Will come back to try other things.Vegetarian options: Call ahead for options of the day.“
“Great little place to eat at, with a little history on the back of the menu about Doc Holliday. We had the Rocky Mountain Oysters with the cocktail sauce were good it could be a meal within itself because they serve them with fries nonetheless, the vibe is very cool!“
“Came for a nice dinner during a weekend getaway from Denver.I was very happy to get a reservation at 4:30pm as the restaurant was completely booked on Saturday night (a great sign to start)The Pullman is easy to get to with street parking nearby. The host and hostess were very friendly and got us seated. We were very lucky to have Bridget R. as our server. She did an incredible job of taking care of us from start to finish. We appreciated her suggestions for food and drinks. To start I had the house oldy with Woody Creek, bitters and pistachio. It was well mixed and I'd even for an extra shot of bourbon next time. For appetizers we tried the foie grad creme brulee with toasted bread. My wife really loved it. I thought it was good and enjoyed the pear compote served alongside. It is very rich and something I have not seen before. They also had a scallop appetizer special which was divine. It was cooked perfectly and served in the scallop shell. I even took some of the salt the shell rested on to add more flavor- yum!For entrees my wife had the elk Bolognese with ricotta dumplings, fennel, balsamic vinegar and parm. The dumplings were light and fluffy without falling apart and cooked perfectly. The elk bolognese was not gamy and seasoned very well. This is something I would go back for time and time again. My entrée was a special steak cooked medium (chef's suggestion) with sweet potatoes, roasted brussel sprouts, a miso butter and marinated in sake (I believe but can't recall exactly) The server recommended this and it was SO worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly and everything was in harmony. Would definitely get this again. We were too full for dessert but the offerings looked fantastic. Will definitely book the Pullman the next time we venture to Glenwood Springs.“
