“Such a great place to eat and have some beers with friends. This pub has a great environment, a friendly staff and an even better selection of craft beer. My kids enjoyed the burgers and Mac and cheese. My wife and I indulged in the BBQ pulled pork. We also tried a couple of different beers and hard seltzer. Both great!! This pub is a reason to come back to town.“
“Had dinner here over the weekend and everything was SO good- far exceeded any expectations.We started with the Pear and Goat Cheese Salad and Calamari and Shrimp. Both were fantastic. I love how the goat cheese was fried and served warm over the salad, and the calamari had a perfect balance of shrimp. Not to mention the Chipotle Remoulade sauce was perfection. The pears on the salad were also delicious.Then we got the Cornbread Muffin, Bison Meatballs, and Pork Mac n Cheese. The cornbread was pretty good- not mindblowing but certainly not disappointing. We enjoyed it with the peach reduction from the meatballs, too. That peach reduction was SO good! And while my first tastes of the pork mac started off without a bang, it got better and better with each bite and became a favorite!Lastly, we went with the recommendation of Maple Butter cake with Cinnamon and Brown Sugar ice cream. Absolutely delicious. While I am sure the apple pie is equally amazing, I wanted to try something different with the cake, and am so glad we did.All in all, the meal was 11/10! We were still thinking about it the next day. Would absolutely love to return next time I am back in Carbondale. Also, this experience made me feel like so much food in Denver is good, but not amazing.I want to add the ambience and service was also exceptional!Thank you so much for a great experience and dinner! “I visited Black Nugget Bar last friday along with my colleague from work. Friday night being the weekend we were expecting a good crowd and our wish was heard.Being new to Aspen, one of my friends from Carbondale recommended this place to me. The entry charges were 3 dollars each.The bar looks chic and classic. The bartender was courteous as well. I asked him to go ahead with Colorado based brewed beer. His choice of beer was really good. I ended up drinking three mugs of it. My friend went ahead with cocktails and his review was also positive.The band playing live music took the energy to the next level and we ended up dancing as well along with drinking. The crowd was also top notch. I ended up making a few friends. I highly recommend this place to seekers of all sorts.We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here! I am going back soon here.“
“Definitely one of my favorite spots in the valley. We had the best time with our server, Jennifer. She was attentive, helpful, and so funny. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I felt relaxed and comfortable the second I walked in. I cannot wait to come back! We had all the margaritas and everyone loved them!“

“Don’t know much about the community, but the golf course is beautiful, very challenging, & one I’m so glad I got to play! I will warn golfers out there that walking this course is probably not advised as the exertion of the layout & setting (lots of elevation changes, long paths between some of the holes or even sections of the course, etc.) will likely adversely impact your swing & accuracy over the course of beginning to end!“
“Recommended by a local friend, I tried the Japanese curry with chicken katsu, and it's delightful. However, I wish they provided more curry instead of just having chicken topped with curry sauce. Overall, it's awesome; the chef and the lady server are both pleasant. I'll certainly come back!“
“If you’re passing through the area and looking for some delicious food, stop here. The truffle potatoes were amazing, the tacos were delicious that I got two more chicken tacos. The spicy margarita was one of the best spicy margs I’ve had and you can’t beat the happy hour! The only negative I would say about the food is the fish taco was a sad small fish stick in a tortilla, otherwise the other tacos are great and I will come back when I’m in town again!“

Order at counter and sit down in lovely dining area. You know it's authentic when you are the only tourists in the restaurant. Just note there is a charge to use a credit card.“
“so good oh my god the owner was serving and was incredibly nice, i wish i took a picture of the sandwich, i got the pastrami sandwich with the truffle fries it was absolutely amazing i brought it home 3 hours later after it sat in a cold car, my boyfriend took a bite and his eyes literally popped open i just wish it was open on weekends! so hard to find good food in this valley“
