“Very good place. this place has a very rich history and amazing atmosphere. When you walk in you we’ll be given a booklet to read and learn about this awesome spot and famous people who visited and hang out here. You need to visit this place.“
“I disagree with those saying this place caters to locals. As an outsider, I felt right at home and the service was great. I guess just don't walk in with a chip on your shoulder. This is a true dive bar so if you're into dive bars you'll feel right at home. It's the kind of place where the sink is separate from the actual bathroom for example. Pool tables in back but we stuck to having some drinks at the booth by the bar. They've got all your standard beers and liquors and even have craft beer options too. If you're looking for an espresso martini or a clean hipster vibe, skip it. If you're looking for a come as you are laidback place you'll feel right at home. Service is friendly.“
“Great spot for apres ski or apres hike beverage and/or burger. The cocktails were excellent and well-priced, the atmosphere was old-timey and relaxed, and they ALLOW DOGS (and less importantly, kids). My kids said it’s now their “favorite restaurant” in Leadville because the friendly bartender made them delicious Shirley Temples, and the tv displayed Bob Ross and YouTube bloopers…entertaining for kids. It’s a great no-frills, historic, chill place just off the main drag of Leadville. We’ll be back!“
“In love with Shyla. I thought she managed / owned the joint based on her knowledge and after all this time just learned she doesn’t! Moving to australia soon and had to make a 2 hour trip out of the way to see this wild card.Parking: It’s Leadville! Come onWheelchair accessibility: 10/10“
“This place looked good so made a reservation for after hiking Turquoise Lake. Good decision. This place is a gem!! Loved that they opened at 3:30. The food was fresh and excellent. Had the tuna and wontons for starters, delicious! We had the lamb and cod for mains. Both excellent! Our server Heidi gave us excellent service. I live about 2 hours away but will drive back just to go to this restaurant. Ok, I might do a little hiking while there as well!“
