“We were in town on our annual ski trip and looking for the Last Steep, but noticed the Hideout took its' place. It was a bit hectic upon arrival with no hostess, but once seated we enjoyed the new decor. Food was good though we missed the Last Steep menu, but service was excellent amidst the chaos. I never really write reviews, but our server Carrie (sp?) was super personable and attentive. We haven't always had the best service in Crested Butte, but she really made our dining experience. My old fashioned from the bar was excellent as well.“

“THE best meal we had in Crested Butte this trip! Grounded in the owner’s great-grandmother’s sourdough starter (named “Trisha”, because OF COURSE), this woman-owned gem is deliciousness at every turn. From the sourdough with black garlic butter to the house-made pasta to the flatbreads and finally bread pudding, everything was PERFECTION - well balanced, indulgent, DELICIOUS. And the wait staff were awesome too (thanks, Abby!). Don’t miss this spot!“

“The Dogwood is a special place. The owners and staff work extremely hard to continually elevate the experience. They are extremely knowledgeable about everything they offer and are highly skilled and take pride in every cocktail served. Places like The Dogwood are few and far between and I can’t say enough great things about it!“

A Bar Above CB Bar • $
620 Gothic Rd Unit C-125, Crested Butte

“Really fun atmosphere with great food and drinks. Love that they have live music and their pizza is super good! Only complaint is the staff seem to pay more attention to themselves than the customers. I get it's fun to catch up with locals/your friends, but the out of towners are the ones spending money to support your business.“

“World class establishment. I crashed my backcountry skis and rolled in there leakin blood. Didnt even have to ask, they just started pouring me a fat drink and whipped out the first aid kit and fixed up my wounds. They put the hospital in hospitality and the put the booze in the beverage.“

“Me and the guys out in Crested Butte on a snowboarding trip. Decided to stop by here to have some beers and hang out and talk. Nice bar, fun atmosphere, nice bartender, and there was even a local dog hanging out inside the bar which made the place seem homey and welcoming. I’m sure we will see you guys again next time we’re out on a snowboarding trip.“
