“We were in town on our annual ski trip and looking for the Last Steep, but noticed the Hideout took its' place. It was a bit hectic upon arrival with no hostess, but once seated we enjoyed the new decor. Food was good though we missed the Last Steep menu, but service was excellent amidst the chaos. I never really write reviews, but our server Carrie (sp?) was super personable and attentive. We haven't always had the best service in Crested Butte, but she really made our dining experience. My old fashioned from the bar was excellent as well.“
“The experience was beyond exceptional. Nick was one of the best servers I’ve ever had - he curated a full chefs tasting menu for our group and was right on the money with every dish we were served. The scallops and bread pudding were absolutely mind blowing and a must order for any diners. Thank you for letting us shut it downnnn! Will 10/10 be back!“
“This place is the bomb! Great location in historic downtown CB. Great place for breakfast with hometown diner feel. Service was good but food and atmosphere were outstanding! Best biscuit I have ever eaten in my life! Definitely hit this place for breakfast if you are in the area!Parking: Parking is on Main Street and side streets only.“
“Chef John did not disappoint. Food and experience were on-point. The prefix menu changes every few weeks and is a true culinary journey. Dining experiences lasts the full evening. Ambiance is cozy with only a few tables, and service is impeccable. If you love fine dining with a more casual atmosphere, Soupçon is a must when in CB.“
“The food was outstanding; my bf and I got one protein dish, chicken, and just sides to share and we were STUFFED after a full day of skiing; and then had enough leftovers for another meal the next day. Wanted to order the ribs/rib eye not just chicken but there was so much food we would not be able to finish it; sooo good that it was hard to pass up! All the sides were delicious! I did not love the mac n cheese but my bf did. We were impressed that the first course was ready when we arrived and had excellent service the whole meal. Chicken, creamed corn and biscuits were my favorites. The mixed drinks were not great; too strong for a mixed one, and the table for two was small but other than that it was amazing! I understand the rave reviews and wish there were more places like this.“
“What an incredible experience. We loved the ability to ski and ski out. The people were all really nice and the food was great. A hidden gem. We recommend definitely a bucket list item you should do. Compare to experiences at some of the other restaurants, we found the prices reasonable.“
“THE best meal we had in Crested Butte this trip! Grounded in the owner’s great-grandmother’s sourdough starter (named “Trisha”, because OF COURSE), this woman-owned gem is deliciousness at every turn. From the sourdough with black garlic butter to the house-made pasta to the flatbreads and finally bread pudding, everything was PERFECTION - well balanced, indulgent, DELICIOUS. And the wait staff were awesome too (thanks, Abby!). Don’t miss this spot!“
