Driving from a bike ride to see Maroon Bells we happened to find a little gem to satisfy our appetites. The burgers are like homemade, the fries are thin and delicious, the chicken tenders were large and tender. The place is small with very little indoor seating, but we found seats. They have outdoor seating.

Fatbelly Burgers serves good, solid burgers and fries, with friendly and welcoming staff. It is a great location with fair prices and is much less pretentious than other newer spots. The small restaurant has basic indoor and outdoor seating, making takeout a good option. Some of the best burgers in Colorado, including the pepper burger and mushroom Swiss burger, are served here, along with delicious ice cream. The chocolate ice cream is particularly rich and is the best tasty freeze in town. The best sweet potato fries are also available. It is a delicious choose-your-own-adventure for burgers, tacos, and hotdogs.
