Been going her for years. Great pub with good food. It's lively and welcoming. My only complaint is the noise level. Crosses the line at times to very unpleasant. It's by design (or bad design) with the tin ceiling and all hard surfaces, nothing absorbs the sound when it's crowded. Too bad they don't take some steps to control the noise level. It's not difficult. So if yelling for the person across the table to hear you isn't your cup of tea, don't go when they're busy.
We're from out of town and found Brick Pony as it was next to our motel. We enjoy pub food and sitting at the bar. We were thoroughly pleased with service, our bartender was A+. We had fish and chips and the fish tacos. Large portions and reasonably priced for Basalt. Had no issues with the fries or any part of our food. We will definitely return on our next trip.

Excellent service, great food! We had the bison meatloaf and wow that was incredible. We will definitely come back. And we got here late at night and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. FYI they close at 9p for food service.
