Portions are great and price is fair. The flavor options are fun and definitely something for everyone. The staff was less than enthusiastic and didn't engage customers except to give my total price. Outside had tables and free water inside. I will definitely return. It's worth the stop and visit!!

The ice cream is amazing but the employees always seem to be very unhappy. :/

Why do they close at 8:30 when the sign says 10. A guy inside, eating ice cream flipped the sign to close when I was about to open the door. What is that about? The closing hours on the door sign and on google should get switched!

UPDATE: Found out later they were “out of vanilla ice cream.” Just had trouble communicating this as the issue. And didn’t seem willing to break out the vanilla in the freezer next to the counter. ##### So, the Carmel brownie does not include all of the ingredients posted? When asked, no explanation. Hmmm… so so place - not recommended.

$14.00 sundae but open til 11 usually

Decent ice cream. Don't expect a "slab" sundae less than an hour before closing. Guess they break down the slab early. I might expect better for the price.

This place is awesome. If you are in Basalt, you should come here. This is especially true if you are staying at The Element. Located in the same building, it is a no-brainer. Park your car for the hotel, get some ice cream, and eat it in your room as you look at the mountains. Trust me.The ice cream was very good and the service was excellent. Prices are on par with other ice cream shops and they are open late. If you aren't keen on eating in your room you can sit at one of the indoor or outdoor tables. You could also wander around town with your waffle cone which is another great idea.
