Splendido At The Chateau

The Veal Chop was amazing. So was the lamb, which our go to on every trip to Splendido. The Palisade deserts were amazing as well. Please put the Veal Chop on the permanent menu. And of course, the staff is phenomenal with Matt always taking good care of his customers. And Billy plus the rest of the team makes this a Michelin grade restaurant.

Excellent experience very unexpected. A real gem for European cuisine, the food is incredible! Service and ambience very good. A little bit pricey but worthwhile. The wine list is incredible but also in tue very high range.

Fantastic setting and food. The sommelier and our waitress were excellent. Dover Sole was great. Highly recommend but it's pricey

Always delicious food and excellent service. However, I do not like being “nickeled and dimed” and charged $7.00 for tea refills when they should be free. Especially at a fine dining restaurant. 

Fantastic meal and service. Demetri was excellent and lamb was likely the best I have had.

Splendido is over priced and over rated. The rack of lamb was very fatty for both orders and over priced at $82. The bean concoction salad that came with it was uneatable and no other options available. Suggest you check out the menu before eating there. The waiter was somewhat non existent especially in try to get the check.

It is a very beautiful restaurant with great food and good service. However, the noise level is ridiculous and ruined the experience.

We always dine at Splendido when in the Vail area and have celebrated many wedding anniversaries there over the years. We celebrated #52 this past week at Splendido. From a personalized menu, to a beautiful view from our table, to great service to delicious food all at a leisurely pace. Always have had a wonderful night at Splendido but the past one was outstanding. Thank you and we will return for hopefully #53!

Absolutely phenomenal food. The pork chop & beef tenderloin were the best we've ever had. Also, be sure to celebrate there! The cake was out of this world!

Splendido NEVER disappoints - but this time they even outdid themselves! We were celebrating my husband's birthday with friends and they made the experience amazing from the moment we pulled up at the valet until we left for the evening. Service is outstanding, food is spectacular and the environment can't get any better. It's our favorite!

Very, very expensive. $210. Per person for our meal and 2 drink's each. Their speciality, Atlantic Cod, which I always get is now $84. I had the Foie Gras appetizer at $27. and it was tiny and not that good.

Spendido was simply awesome. The service was elite and the food was out of this world. I had the pork chop and it simply melted in my mouth. My wife had one of their fish dishes and she totally enjoyed it. We ended the meal with souffles--I had the chocolate and my wife had the lemon souffle. If you are looking for a great meal and price is not an object---this is the place to go. You will not be disappointed!!!

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here and everything was perfect...beautiful table by the open doors, custom menus, attentive service and delicious food! Thank you!

Splendido is our absolute family favorite restaurant!!! The dinner was fantastic and service was outstanding. We will be back time and time again and you should too!

Over all great experience. Was hoping to eat on outside patio. We had party of 5 and table was too large to hear person beside me talking. Waiter was excellent. Chef came out to discuss dietary concerns. The result was absolutely delicious. Alcohol was great! Would go back for a special dinner occasion. Very pricey $ 900 for party of 5 with no dessert.
