My husband is from New Mexico, and as a rule, we don't go to Mexican restaurants in CO. When people ask him where he goes for Mexican food, he tells them he stays home and cooks. We stumbled across La Casita by accident while in Berthoud when the cafe where we had intended to go was closed. Best accident ever. The green chile is phenomenal! I had a chili relleno and it was the best I've ever ate it's difficult to find hot chili seasoned Hot chili in Colorado if you want hot chili this is the place you need to order it it is fantastic it's super hot but if you love Hot chili it's great their food is amazing
