This was the absolute worst dining experience! It was my birthday, and my daughters were taking me out for a five star????? dinner. I’m not kidding raw bacon on both our wedge salad and our bacon cheeseburger, not to mention the fact that our shrimp tempura was undercooked. The table next to us also had raw shrimp and uncooked rice. My favorite parts was the fact that I ordered a cocktail off their cocktail menu. It took 42 minutes to get my cocktail and when I got it, it tasted like sandbox dirt. The manager was notified and came over to our table to ask us what the issue was. He opened up the burger he said, “Yep that’s not cooked right,” then proceeded to grab our shrimp and start picking it up with his fingers and opening the shrimp up, then told us we still have to pay for our cocktails. not only was he disinterested and dismissive to our concerns, but he did not tell anybody in the kitchen about the bacon, & as we were leaving the restaurant we noted that many other people were eating the raw bacon. We have notified the health department.

The Roxy came close to being good but several disappointments caused us to not want to come back. The two of us were seated at a tiny table next to a window looking directing into the messy kitchen. We actually had a chef looking right at us inches away while he prepped something. Awkward! There were plenty of empty tables elsewhere. We started with the old fashioneds - very good but they still use those bright red artificially colored cherries. The tempura shrimp batter hardly seemed like tempura, more like beer batter, very doughy. The shrimp themselves were a bit undercooked and huge. My wife's ribeye was only 1/2" thick and curled up like a cup due to a weird trim. Ordered medium rare it came out medium. A good steakhouse will ask the customer to cut into their steak upon serving to see if it was prepared to order, that didn't happen here. My Prime NY Strip was delicious but also a little overcooked. On the other end of the spectrum my smoked Gouda cheese au gratin potatoes were undercooked - even a bit crunchy. But the cheese was delicious. At these prices expectations are high. On the plus side service was excellent. And as others have said the asparagus was grilled perfectly and outstanding. These are all easy fixes and I almost hate to complain but want to be helpful to the establishment.

The fresh bread was so delicious, and the filet mignon and au gratin potatoes were as well. Espresso martini and cucumber mule were also very good. We had a salad as a first course, and the lettuce was a little wilted and the vinaigrette was nothing special... But over all the steak was amazing.

I ordered the NY Strip steak, I wanted the Ribeye, however, they had run out for the night. I received my plate and it was the most disgusting steak I have ever had. There was ZERO flavor and the steak cost $60!!! I could’ve gone to Outback and had a better steak.

Very disappointed as the bread was not fresh at all. I have dined there on several occasions and have had the raisin bread many times, well last night we were served the raisin bread in which it was hard as a rock. It had to be from the day before, or the day before that, I asked the waiter to bring us more bread, in which he did but there should be something against serving yesterdays bread to customers. I was appalled, and the sad thing is the waiter must of knew something was wrong with the bread, as I asked him to feel the bread, and he would not, he just asked if I would like him to bring another basket. I would give this restaurant a big fat 0 (zero), so unfortunate as we were celebrating an engagement that evening, and the audacity to bring to the table some stale, hard, unfresh bread.

Very good food, all well prepared! We gave Roxy's a shot when we stopped into Black Hawk, Colorado for some Casino time. Steaks are a la carte with available side dishes. Other Entrees look to be plated with sides and preparation. We had the New York Rare Plus ( I usually go Med Rare, but didn't want to risk it going over. It came out a perfect Rare plus and was a true prime cut, best thing we had! Filet Med Rare was very good as well. Loaded Baked Potatoes were very good ( I like chives on mine, but they were still good without. Cocktails were strong and wine pour generous. No greeter at the front, so the Servers were also seating guests arriving at the restaurant. They did a great job of getting everything done, though! We would recommend Roxy's for an upscale meal with nice ambiance.

Unfortunately, the best dining experience with our server. Wedge salad was so basic and mediocre drenched and dressing. Harley and bacon or blue cheese. Wagyu burger was undercooked with the Smashy bun.

My husband and I had reservations for 9:15 pm. The server was prompt and took our drink and food order. After approximately 5-10 minutes, our server came back and advised us that the kitchen was out of mash potatoes and brussels sprouts and asked us what we would like to do, we took the remaining meal (steak) to go. The server did advise us that there was a new chef that had only been there for two days. For being a high end steakhouse it did not meet standards.

We had a great table however our waiter Chad had at least 6 tables including us. He had taken my appetizer to wrong table and they returned it to him. He then walked around and brought it over to us. I asked him if he took to wrong table and he said yes however it was new. News! It wasn't and it was warm. Then we waited almost hour for our entrees. My steak and shrimp were warm and my wife's chicken wasn't prepared correctly. She got sick from the chicken several hours later. I blame mgmt for not having enough servers. Plus the servers need to use trays to bring food in and out of kitchen. Who carries plates and serves from their own hands?

Food took a little bit to come out which is fine but it was cold. Potato wasn't even done. Prime rib cold. My husband's shrimp fettuccini also cold and blah and the shrimp was so tough he had to cut it with a knife. Very expensive meal that was a D
