“Great meal. Walked in and taken directly to the table. Water and menus immediately. Our waiter,Troy, was excellent. Timing was great, entrees (2 different steaks) cooked perfectly and good salads and sides. Had a not great service experience here coming out of the pandemic and it was great to see they have recovered and feel they are back to one of my favorite steakhouses after this meal!”

“We had a group of 4. Michelle was our waitress. She was very nice and very attentive. I had the cheeseburger with green chili and hand cut fries. My husband had a loaded pizza. The food was prepared by Michelle and Roy. It was hot, fresh and delicious. We got to meet the infamous Roy and his wife Barbara. Both were very nice and Roy kept us laughing and smiling the entire time. He went out of his way to spend time with us and even invited us to see his immaculate kitchen. We had so much fun and will definitely visit again.”

I ordered the Breakfast burrito and I must say that the Gilpin is definitely underselling this bad boy! What I got was exactly what was described on the menu, but at least double! The sausage had a smoked quality that isn't normally found in Breakfast sausage you get In BlackHawk, the potatoes were fried to perfection and still maintained that "crunch" in burrito form, the eggs were light and fluffy, and the famous green chili is not too aggressive in fact there's just the right bite to remind you that you're in Colorado and this is how we get down! “Minh was an amazing and knowledgeable server/bartender. He recommended lemon on the dumplings, a blackberry mule, and also had great stories to tell during our meal. He was truly amazing and only made us want to come back over and over! Been here 3 times in two days. And only plan on visiting him more on our next trip up! He truly made it worth while.”

“This place is an absolute pleasure to visit! First I noticed the smoker smelling damn good! Then once we entered, I was greeted by the owner himself and we instantly had laughs! The waitress at the bar area was fantastic! We all clicked like we were family instantly! I got the bbq sample platter with extra meats included because why not? It’s damn good bbq you’ll definitely enjoy and talk about in the future.”

“Awesome server last night, November 5th about 830pm. The service was great and did was fantastic.. try the chili fries.. large plate filled with them chili cheese fries... Great appetizer but I used it as my meal and it was well worth the 6 to $8 and was delicious....”

“We weren't sure Dash Cafe was even open but they were. Upgraded now that it is in the Caesars family we were told. We had the Dash Breakfast and the Buttermilk Pancakes. Everything was great! Recommend.”
